About

The All-American Rejects wrapped up the summer of 2013 as the main support act on Blink-182's 20th Anniversary Tour, but the quartet from Stillwater, Oklahoma, is no stranger to headlining their own tours. They hit the road for the first time back in 2001 and have been delighting ticket holders ever since with their captivating, high-energy performances. Their hook-laden music has a tendency to scoop listeners up with its catchy melodies and tasteful pop arrangements. After forming in 1999, the band reached critical acclaim with their 2003 debut album, The All-American Rejects. The record went platinum and featured the single "Swing, Swing." Since then, they have stayed on the pop-chart radar with half a dozen more hit singles, including "Dirty Little Secret," "Move Along" and "Gives You Hell." Their impressive career has landed them two platinum albums, one gold album and worldwide sales of over 10 million records.

Speaking of worldwide, The All-American Rejects' romp across the international stage recently found them in Malaysia, gracing the stage in concert in Kuala Lumpur with fellow rockers The Wanted and Five For Fighting. The band's tremendous climb up from humble middle-American roots rings poignant with music lovers, and their fan base continues to grow with their success. They engage fans on YouTube and Twitter with their down-to-earth, boy-down-the-block, easygoing attitudes. Not to be blinded by technology, they keep their collective thumb on the pulse of the past. Lead singer Tyson Ritter admits to being a "total vinyl kid" and collecting records from Miles Davis and ELO. The singer also recently released a solo song, entitled "Air," in an attempt to tide fans over until the next album.

    AAR was a good show!

by Donte on 11/5/09WVU Coliseum - Morgantown

I'm not a big fan of the opening bands, but that's just me, but I love the All American Rejects! They put on a great show not just with music but in their presence on stage. Lead singer did a good job of engaging the crowd and transitioning from song to song. don't leave early, you might miss something!

    Amazing show

    by maverick152004 on 11/5/09WVU Coliseum - Morgantown

Tyson Ritter puts on an amazing show. The All-American Rejects did a great job. I would highly recommend a show to any fan. Warning: Parents of younger children be advised, Ritter dropped a lot of F-bombs between and during songs. Not sure if he always does this, but it can be surprising as their songs usually do not contain swearing.

    AAR & TBS were great

by Ashweezyy on 11/5/09WVU Coliseum - Morgantown

The All American Rejects were outstanding. They played all the good jams and were very interactive with the audience. Taking Back Sunday wasn't as great as I anticipated, but were still amazing nonetheless.

    All American Rejects - EXTREME!

by Lshreve on 11/5/09WVU Coliseum - Morgantown

WOW what can I say except - EXTREME time! I didn't care for Anberlin and Taking Back Sunday was good but I have to say the highlight of the show and the reason I went was to see The All American Rejects - THEY ROCKED! Ty was very funny with the interaction of the crowd - sound system was excellent could hear his voice very well and they rocked out with an intensity beyond human control! They did a lot of their hits and out of all the songs they did 99% of my favorites. THIS IS A MUST SEE EVENT - HIGHLY recommend it and THANK YOU AAR for a great concert experience! Will be a fan always! Only thing I did not like about the whole thing was all the downtime between each band to re-set the stage - took 30-40 min between bands - was kind of boring.

    Good concert

by VegasJuly4th on 7/7/09Mandalay Bay Resort - Las Vegas

The concert was good and Mandalay Beach was a cool venue but not having a real place to sit other than on the sand was a little crazy. As people moved around, you could find chairs near the bar areas.

    Great Concert

by Roro on 7/5/09Mandalay Bay Resort - Las Vegas

I thought this was a really good concert, I've loved them ever since their first CD. They are way more talented than anyone gives them credit. Also the fact that it was on the beach was really cool.

All American Rejects Detects a Good Time!

by ClaimAdjuster on 7/5/09Mandalay Bay Resort - Las Vegas

Very cool show. The music was right on the money. Especially since tickets were only $40 for GA, and you could sit in the sand not even 20 ft away and watch Tyson totally get into the songs. Great performance. I was just far enough away I didn't have to worry about getting hit by the water bottles or cans of beer the band was throwing into the audience! If you didn't go to this show, it was one of the best at the beach at Mandaly Bay this summer, and I'll see AAR the next time they are in Vegas.
