Super experience! Great venue and shout out to St. Andrews Hall Detroit Michigan. ...Sound was excellent, security was not to overbearing. Up close an personel when it came to interacting with the artist. Hats off to The Alarm, Modern English, and Jay Ashton (Gene Loves Jezebel). Thank You!

Still Rocking in the Free World

by Johnny 49 on 8/19/19House of Blues Chicago presented by Cricket Wireless - Chicago

While Gene Loves Jezebel and Modern English were good, I was there to see the Alarm. Mike Peters has put out two recent albums that are as good as anything the original Alarm released before 1991. The new songs are highly personal and emotional while also being good to listen to. The set went back and forth between new and old classics. James Stevenson on bass and guitar is amazing. Smiley, the drummer, should run for President. Of course, Jules and Mike are both cancer survivors, so it creates an atmosphere of triumph every time they take the stage. I recommend seeing the Alarm to music fans of all ages.

Great evening, but why start so late?

by Crispy on 8/19/19House of Blues Chicago presented by Cricket Wireless - Chicago

The Alarm as ever were great, but with 2 acts before starting at 8pm, it was 2 hours until the main event, which then makes for a late evening.

All three bands were very entertaining. Delmar Hall is an amazing venue for small shows.

    Great show!

by Darby on 8/6/19Ace of Spades - Sacramento

A fantastic triple bill. The Alarm especially rocked it, bringing me back to my 80s roots. The venue was a bit hot (they need to work on their AC), but overall an excellent show.

Didn't expect the show to be as good as it was, but I have to say, I was up dancing and singing along all night long. They put on one helluva show. Definitely will go to see them again. Thanks for coming to San Diego

Maybe even better than 30 years ago!

by bluesguyswife on 9/25/18Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

The Alarm never disappoints. Of the 15 concerts I've attended in the past year, (and some were BIG names) Mike Peters & crew pulled off a better show than the rest by far!! I loved the intimate setting of the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. One of the best parts of the evening, to me, was the bond/fellowship of Alarm fans in the audience. The band really connected with the fans and it felt like a family reunion of sorts, only better (obviously, no family drama, lol.) The band played EVERYTHING the old and new fans alike love about them, and did so with excellence. So thankful for such a special evening and to see Mike & Jules so healthy and out living life to the fullest after all both have been through. <3

Come on down and meet your maker

by mickinaddis on 8/18/18Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Quirky venue with a church hall feel to it as all the seats are laid out exactly in rows but free parking, friendly staff and a good atmosphere that saw Mike Peters and the band rip through a great set mixing hits with acoustic numbers with Mike obviously enjoying been alive and well Full of energy as he jumps between 3 mics on the stage to include all the audience Great concert

    Best kept secret!

by ALARMfan on 8/18/18Ponte Vedra Concert Hall - Ponte Vedra Beach

Incredible show even in a small venue. I just wish more people had been exposed to this band. They briefly toured with U2 in the 80s and built an immediate following. Then they had a couple of MTV hits like “Strength” and “Rain in the Summertime”. Then several years ago they appeared on VH1s “Band Reunited” in which they failed to reunite. Most fans probably gave up hope of seeing them perform again. I hope they continue to tour and maybe they could join forces. with similar bands of that time. It would be nice to get them some more well deserved exposure.
