The 39 Steps Tickets

Compelling, funny and very well acted. The actors were amazing in the roles as actors and stage hands.

I took my two sisters from out of town to see The 39 Steps. We all really liked the show. The actors were terrific, with perfect timing. The production was perfectly paced. The show was a loving tribute to the old Alfred Hitchcock movie, adding more humor which was thoroughly enjoyable. This was one of the best shows I have seen in the Chicago area over the past thirty years.

Best. Play. Ever. Hysterical, bursting laugh out loud funny for all ages. Took my 15 year old daughter, she enjoyed it as much (if not more) than I did. Cannot believe how fast the play moved, how action packed it was, and how much there was to see from just four actors! Astounding. Already searching for dates to see it again before it leaves town. The only warning I would give is that the British/Irish accents used during the play by the actors make it extremely difficult to understand in spots. Many people around us kept asking us what the actors were saying. Since we're fans of the BBC network we were able to understand it better than most around us, but at times even we found ourselves wondering what had just been said. It's the only reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of the full 5.

The 39 Steps was amazing. The actors did a phenomenal job - their quick change of costumes from character to character was so well done. The British humor was great and the whole show was very enjoyable. A great evening of entertainment if you are looking for something out of the ordinary. Would recommend to anyone.

It was fast, witty, entertaining and impressive! I went in not knowing a thing, completely taking a chance, and left loving it!

you must take the time to see the 39 steps. these clowns are awesome acrobats. all kinds of unexpected stunts. the story line is a good one. a real treat in costume changing, dialect changing, and scene changing. men are men and women. the woman is a woman. do not miss this play!

The play The 39 Steps was great!! I had read reviews highly recommending it. Knowing it was based on the Alfred Hitchcock movie, I didn't expect so much comedy. I was pleasantly surprised. The fact the all the characters were played by four actors was amazing. Actually most of the characters were played by 2 actors. The quick change from character to character was a joy to watch. The acting was superb. My niece and I thoroughly enjoyed the play. I would see it again and bring along friends and family as it was a fun afternoon.

Not what I was expecting (in a good way) considering Hitchcock made a version of it. It was fast-paced and funny.

This was a great take on the original film. There are only 4 actors doing multiple characters. These people were great. Their timing was impeccable. They were able to give the illusion of movement on the train, room scene changes, etc. It was a mystery but full of humor. One of the more entertaining plays we've seen in awhile. Good play for a smaller venue.

Excellent play ,very funny and the actors were outstanding.

It was constant action and funny, although because it was British and sometimes Scottish accents that were used, it was hard to understand because the sound system is not the greatest there.

REALLY LIKED HOW HE WENT AROUND TRYING TO PROVE HIS INNOCENCE & ALWAYS ESCAPING GETTING ARRESTED OR KILLED

I've seen this play performed in Portland and I thought the Portland performance was better. Bottom line is that this show is not worth what you're going to spend to see it.

The show was entertaining, fast moving and funny. The 4 actors were terrific.

I didn't know what to expect and was delighted with the show. It was clever and funny.

4 Actors who where unbelievable. I like the woman the best, but the men were amazing also. She cracked me up with her accenuated accents. Something everyone should see because it was so unique.

Very funny play with a cast of wonderful actors who change characters within the play adding more fun to the production!

Amazing venue and show was grade A...enjoyed by all ages

Enjoyed the show! Actors were great! Some of the older people in the audience had a little trouble with the English accents.
