The concert was wonderful. My daughter loved the concert and LayLay.
Has an amazing time. Both my daughter and myself had a great time at the On My Way Tour!
I enjoy it but it was more for my children they was more hype to see that girl lay lay then I was but really enjoyed myself I would go to another one
The parents were very unhappy with live-nation clear bag policy which we did not receive prior to the concert. I had to purchase a clear bag for my purse and purchase a locker because my purse couldn’t fit in the purchased clear bag. I spent 20 dollars (only accepting debit cards, no cash, or Apple Pay)before I even entered the building, standing in the rain with my daughter. There was no cooperative or directive of where to go and what to do. Once inside the venue, I joined a line to get food and drinks where I saw people with bags bigger than my purse. Finally reaching the front of the line after 30-45 minutes I was told it was a 20-minute wait for chicken tenders and fries, there is no lid to the cups and no straws. I finally received my purchased items and struggled to my seats praying no one bumped into me or my daughter. Live- nation underestimated the number of attendees and desperately needed more workers.
To start off you couldn't bring a hand bag big enough to fit ur phone in it,a lil evening bag was too big,the lines for food was crazy wait 40+ for food they ran out of popcorn before the show even started..the show was a bit dry,and the seat were expensive so they had a lot of empty seats available..
I show was great. It could have been set up a little better ( venue) the set up felt like a free show. It was empty seat I felt like that could have made some people in the back move up after a while and had someone to explain if someone came for the seat. Some of the special guests performed longer than Laylay and Dylan and that's who we came to see there performance was short, but they came out and really gave a show it was fun.
This was likely one of the most awful venues ive been in sometime. There were people coming constantly into our front seat area and trying to occupy other seats that were not theirs. Security stood by and did absolutely nothing. They allowed people into areas of seating where they did not belong. We even observed almost physical confrontations because of unruly parents that were trying to sneak into seating areas that were others seats.
Took my girls to the Adelanto kids fest today, Lay Lay was suppose to go on but the rain canceled all that. I bought the private meet and greet with Lay Lay for both of my girls and they didnt get to see her. There's no clarification if were getting a refund or if the event is being rescheduled. My youngest daughter was crying her little eyes out, we were standing in the rain soaking wet waiting and hoping she would still go on. My daughters were looking forward to this all week, all they could talk about was meeting Lay Lay smh. Hopefully everything works out.
Not a good look for a kids academy having men gyrating on stage in front of 5 year olds . Labaling it as a kids event. It felt like a money grad.
I can deal with everything that happen except for two performances. Its was supposed to be a kids concert. Why was there two grown men on stage gyrating?!? In front of kids as young as 4 and 5? Some parents walked out. Parent all aroumd looking in shock. It got so quiet ! The air was sucked out the room. So uncomfortable for me to be in tbat setting with my two young daughters! I will not stop supporting my community. Plse do better in supporting our youth and there innocence! It said kids concert. We would have stayed home and let you guys have it.
Lay Lay and friends was a great interaction with the audience. The performances were amazing. And the meet and great was so much fun. Thanks Lay
The sound system was terrible. There was performances like it was a competition not a concert and when Lay Lay finally came out she was on stage 20 minutes maximum and the audience was very disappointed after waiting til the end. Don’t recommend that type of headliner for a music concert
This was a family event to remember. My youngest daughter had the opportunity to see her FAVORITE artist yet again (first time in Greensboro, NC) and had the chance to finally meet her (but God!!!). I already tried to purchase MEET& GREET and/or VIP tickets, but was able to do so. The opening acts were filled with dance/step teams from the surrounding areas. Two young artists also performed (Zion Joy). The afternoon was great overall. The sound system was terrible. The artists' words were muffles. The only reason we knew what Lay Lay was saying is because we knew the words to the song. Zion Joy had the help of her father to project the lyrics. The other young male artists was purely inaudible and he really tried to hype thee audience up. The venue was fine. NEED TO GET A BETTER AUDIO/DJ OPTION. I suggest you reach out for a local referral to get quality sound support. The local radio stations have veteran DJs in the area that are known and can still move the crowd. Cruz of 97.5 is still local in the Rocky Mount area with better sound equipment that was on stage. Frankie Wiggins better known as "Smokehouse" has been providing sound in Raleigh for decades. You get what you pay for!!!
That girl Lay Lay was AWESOME. My daughter had a great time and the meet & greet was fast and Awesome.
The host was great and my child had a great time but the main performing took forever to show up. The kept delaying her arrival and when she finally showed up it was a very basic performance that lasted 25 minutes at best. Not worth the money.
The show felt like 20 minutes of Lay Lay and 1 hour of opening acts. The production was underwhelming: no thematic content / scenery on the stage and the sound system was horrible. Could've understand what any of the artists were saying. Some of the emcees comments were inappropriate for the age group, like referring to the strip club. Wouldn't pay again to see it.
The venue is great and seating was very nice and comfortable. The employees were nice and helpful to find your seats and get snacks. FYI the hall in actually on the right side of the building not across the street or a separate building.
