BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Harlem-born Teyana Taylor grew up performing in talent competitions and got her first taste of the national spotlight in 2007 when her 16th birthday party was featured on the popular MTV show My Super Sweet Sixteen. That same year she signed with Pharell Williams' Star Trek Entertainment label, and the following year she released "Google Me", the lead single from her debut mixtape From a Planet Called Harlem. The song was a moderate success on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, leading to several acting gigs and an appearance on Kanye West's 2010 album My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. After amicably parting ways with Pharrell in 2012 and dropping an independently released mixtape, Taylor signed to West's GOOD Music imprint and began work on her debut full-length. The result, 2014's VII, was a certified hit, topping the R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart and cracking the mainstream Top 20 thanks to popular singles like "Maybe" and "Do Not Disturb". Since then Teyana has proven herself an incredible performer, slaying fans with stellar performances that have them eager for her Unplugged 2016 Tour.
This show was the best. Teyana really put on a good show and kept me entertained the entire show. I live that she let Junior have the stage and Julie did good. I loved loved loved the show!

Teyana put on a show the venue was spaced to where whoever you was ere you enjoyed Teyana she Sanggg for her life had great control even with all the dancing the venue when they turned on the air conditioner it was evenly disbursed when the mike messed up she gladly switched it out and continued the show she didn’t make and complications mess up or show in her performance so I was overall pleased
I know she's uber talented and that theres so much she conquers but i had never seen her live. She commanded every inch of that stage. It was sexy, and soulful. i was in awe. I couldn't belt out word for word any of her songs the way the people around me could, but i would highly recommend seeing her live.

Teyana Taylor made her hometown proud. What an epic sold out performance. Ms Taylor’s show reminded you of the greats before her time. Her wardrobe changes was the type of production ledgends are made of. The venue was packed with people from all ages and backgrounds who were on the edge of their seats the entire evening. As Teyana took us all on a roller coaster ride of sex love and tantalizing music.
This woman puts on such a great show. She performs from head to toe. If you ever get a chance to see her live... Go!

There were technical difficult's to the point where the artist was unable to hear themselves on stage. Stage set up was cluttered and The audience could barely hear the words because of the lack of noise proof filters within the facility.

Best consecutive performances I've seen in a while. From the opening acts to the main event, all of these young women showed their Magic! Hbcu Harris Stowe made this unforgettable for a great cause. Teyana Taylor got up close and personal before she left the building and even took a picture with my phone.❤❤❤
THE SHOW WAS GREAT SHE DID EVERY SONG OFF HER ALBUM AND A FEW COVERS.. SHE IS A GREAT PERFORMER.... I DROVE OVER 3 HRS TO SEE HER AND I WOULD DO IT AGAIN..
this was the first time seeing Teyana Taylor perform and what a Great Performance. She put on a great story of her Music, Life and shared her world of ups and downs.
Teyana Taylor put on a great show high energy. She can dance sing and preform. I really feel like i connected with her. Loved all of her songs.

Teyana Taylor and her amazing talents in singing and dancing were really exhibited. Her Dj was even awesome!! great energy to get the show going. If my review was based on teyana alone and the energy I would probably be giving 4 or 5 stars. What ruined it was the venue wasn't what I expected at all. It was like an old, needed to be renovated venue in what looked like a debatable part of DTLA. Not only that but to match the venue the crowd was extremely ghetto, my boyfriend and I could feel in the air before the night was over someone was bound to fight especially She took so long to come out, tension and wariness were building and just as we expected a huge fight broke out which caused a few people to leave. We would have left but we already waited like 2+ hours so we decided we might as well stick it out. Her show almost made up for everything just wished we could have seen her under more enjoyable circumstances.
