The Stars are great to watch and all of the seats in the venue are good! We've been attending for many years and it seems like the atmosphere has really declined. It's not as much fun when people are drunk, shouting obscenities (drunk or not), and booing the other team. What happened to sportsmanship? It just makes for an unpleasant time and I find that we are attending fewer and fewer games because of it.
Sat right behind the visitors bench, and I had a blast. Occasionally blocked by coaches but didn’t care. The action made up for it. Loads of great concessions to choose from, the crowd was in to it, despite wearing opposing gear, they were down to earth. We’re all Texans so it makes sense. Just need H‑E‑B to build one of those down here.
Texas Stars put on a great show... the hockey was great and the environment was fun for the family! GO STARS!!!
First time going to watch the Texas Stars, wife and I had an amazing time watching the stars fight for a victory! The Stars have two new fans!! Highly recommend!
We enjoyed the games so much! We loved our seats! The employees were wonderful! My mom is 88 and they took such good care of her coming in and leaving!! We will go back for sure!!
We love hockey and the venue is cool. The legroom in the seats is minimal and the hot dogs were cold. That being said, we bought more tickets and will be going back.
I always love watching the Stars! Never disappointed, always entertained and enamored! Will definitely be back!
section 111 row r is literally just folding chairs at the top of the stairs. no cupholders, arm rests or space. and they weren't cheap either.
We enjoyed the arena and the environment. Value of entertainment value per dollar was off the charts.
Everything was entertaining. Great hockey game with a last minute goal in the 3rd to pull out the win. All of the audio/visual scoreboard videos had the crowd laughing and were hilarious and so much fun for the whole family.
It’s a great atmosphere during the stars game. You have a little bit of everything for everyone! Kids watching the mascot, hanging out by the player tunnel to get high-fives from players, a lot of dance party moments on the Jumbotron! First timers will have an experience that will forever hook you. The cheering in unison, the unique way to cheer however you want and forever be joined by someone with the same spirit! Beer, Hot dogs & Pretzels, the jerseys all the way from the beginning to newly released that get you the feeling of loyalty. Heart racing moments as your stars are tracking the goal and finally line up for one. The airhorns and flashing lights signaling your team scored. It’s great first time fun, long term fun.
Great team and facility. Amazing seats for a fraction of the price of an NHL game. I'll be back!
Had fun at the Texas Star game on 1/6/24 (Saturday). Sell out crowd and rowdy. New to hockey and there is a lot of fast action. Crowd is knowledgeable and those around me liked to share their knowledge of teh game. They also have their own chants, which makes it fun. A pleasnt surprise was that the parking is free at the HEB Center and there are parking/security staff before and after game.. Only disappointment was the surcharges added by the ticket distributor. Recommend attending one game and you'll be hooked for a future game!
Tons of fun and relatively affordable. Plenty of action and we will be back!
This was my first Stars game to go to as I have just moved into the area. I was very impressed with the team’s fans. I did not know hockey would be big in central Texas. The seats I had were great, the staff was friendly, there were a lot of good food options and they even had a special event that donated stuffed teddy bears for children this particular night. After the Stars scored their first goal, everyone launched their bears onto the ice. It was a very cool sight to see and it was for a great cause! Good job H-E-B Center. Will definitely be attending more games and hope to become a regular there.
I guess if you are 5ft 5 you would be fine but taller you are so cramped in there with no movement. Love the arena but seats need to change.
Me and my 13 year old son love going to stars games. If I could afford it I would get season tickets and go all the time.
Game was awesome even though we lost. Players stayed late and signed autographs for over 300 people. Great time and can’t wait to go back.
We had a great time watching the game. Getting in and out for super easy.
