It was an awesome time and loved the events & activities pre-race!

  • Mostly good

by Guydiver on 9/28/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 4 out of 5

It was a good experience mostly. It was really hot. The bleacher seats must have been torture. We had chair seats upper level under the awning. NEVER go there without sitting in those. The concessions are getting horrific in price. 9$ cup of iced tea. $24 for two Italian ice. $35+tax for a plain Jane TMS cap. And now they’re adding a 15% gratuity to food and beverage! You have to decline it otherwise it’s automatic. And as far. as I could tell it’s all credit cards now, no cash everywhere I saw. They had some cooling stations so that was nice. Bring your cooler and lots of ice! Don’t bother with paid parking either. It’s not worth it, and I’ve done both. FYI you can only turn certain directions when exiting the track property. . If you need to turn right or left you’d better be in that lane. Come early, park next to the exit lanes. Headphones are a must to get the most out of the race. I always tune in to Big Hoss TV, and scan the drivers channels occasionally. And it was eerily not nearly as crowded this year. Just sayin’.

  • Definitely going again

Love this track. It was hot and free cooking towels should be more accessible but other than that, it's a great track

  • What a blast!

by Dennis on 9/28/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

We came with a group of 5 racefans from the Netherlands. Our first NASCAR race ever and boy it was overwelming! Things are so different from European races. Before the start we could just talk to drivers. It was all so open and aproachable. Then the race…Woooooah! It was a wall of speed and roaring engines that hit us at the start! All in all it was a once in a lifetime experience! Thank you NASCAR! Thank you Texas! Y’all gave us the best racing ever!!!

Had a great day overall at the race last Sunday despite it being 100+ degrees. Some slight improvements would be to offer Shiner Bock for sell. It’s Texas Motor Speedway, would be nice if they sold the unofficial beverage of Texas. As there was not flyover at the conclusion of the national anthem which was pretty disappointing. The parachuters were ok and all but there’s nothing like an F15 or F16 screaming over head. They heat while out of the control of racetrack was intense. Maybe NASCAR can consider moving this to a night race.

  • Awesome

by Christy on 9/28/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

It is a really nice track to go to. You can see the whole track from any seat that I could tell and wasn’t hard to get in or out. It was very hot out and they had cooling stations giving wet towels out which I thought was awesome it really helped me out a lot.

I love going to nascar events and watching the cars but this track needs to be fixed it’s a buzz kill watching single file racing here.

  • Best time ever!!

NASCAR is always amazingly fun. Making memories with all my family makes it even more special.

  • Great experience for a 1st timer and family.

by 1st timer on 9/28/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed the experience. I’m so thankful for the crew member that gave us earplugs cause we didn’t have a clue what we were up against. Really enjoyed the fact that you’re allowed to bring your own food and beverage inside. Got to sit next to the so called AI robots also.

  • 09/24/23 Nascar Texas

by Skippy on 9/28/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Great race. Our first time at Texas Raceway. Have had season tickets at PIR of 8 years. Really fast track. Weather was hot. Good food, decent price, great souvenirs. Easy in and out of parking lot.

  • I wasn't impressed by the track or quality of racing.

by Drew on 9/28/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 2 out of 5

Out stated facility. Extremely hot. Rough parking lot. Rude event staff for parking. Wasted parking permit due to nobody knowing which way to send me.

  • Awesome time!

by Paula S. on 9/26/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Nascar Cup Series is always a great experience at Texas Motor Speed Way! The staff is always professional and polite. Track viewing from seats was exceptional, at least ours were. The free parking option is great! It was quite hard to hear or understand the interviews from the track commentators. And I think the routes exiting the track could be set up much better to avoid the extensive gridlock.

  • Exhilarating racing at EPIC speeds!

by Vishes on 4/6/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

The weather was great. The racing was exhilarating especially towards the end as everyone battled for a win. Oval racing at over 220 MPH is crazy. TMS & IndyCar allowed the fans into the pits after the race. That is always a treat. Looking forward to the rest of the racing season.

  • Not all "improvements" improve the experience.

by Mad John on 4/5/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 2 out of 5

Their new stand-up bar runs the entire length of the front straight. As such it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a decent seat, if you are marginally disabled, as you have to climb a set of stairs equivalent to about 1 1/2 stories in a building, before you even get into the seats. Then climb further to get to your seats. Being afflicted with both asthma and a heart condition, this came close to ruining the experience in and of itself. Beyond this, whether due to ticketmaster or the track, itself, purchasing was a royal pain. Not one out of 3 seats was occupied, but when I purchased the tickets, in early February, the seat map appeared to have about 75 seats left in the entire grandstand. And those weren't particularly attractive seats, either. If you want to sell more tickets, make them all available!

  • Lack of information on all qualifying drivers.

by Tony on 4/5/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 4 out of 5

Good race; but tried to purchase program for race such as drivers name line up number I’d for car. Ask vendors but no one had them. So I tried to see the names on the screen but to much glare. Turned to Sirius radio and followed race on that. Too bad no program for souvenirs.

  • Indy back at Texas

by Chris on 4/5/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Another exciting INDYCAR race at TMS! This year was great, no major multicar pileups, and resulting delays as in recent past seasons made for great continuous action. Track prep this year delivered tons of passing and down-to-the-wire excitement. I’d say it’s still very difficult to hear announcers from the stands, so it’s hard to determine what’s happening on track during key moments of the race. This is more an auto racing issue though, not limited to INDYCAR or TMS. If INDYCAR could solve that, the fan base would appreciate it and it would likely result in growth of the sport.

by Suzzya on 4/5/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 1 out of 5

When I purchased the tickets, I didn’t know that it was a Indy car race. I was looking forward to seeing a nascar race. I saved for months to see a nascar race. I’m highly disappointed, $228 down the drain.

  • Great venue, great event!

by Jorge on 4/5/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 5 out of 5

Really enjoyed the race, the venue is great! Easy to get in and get out, free parking, the food was really good! Looking forward to attending more events there! In a few words: everything was A+++++++++++++!

  • Great day at the Indycar race

by Mike from Austin on 4/5/23Texas Motor Speedway - Fort WorthRating: 4 out of 5

First time to TMS for a race. Seats were perfect, right at the dogleg exiting the pits and row 45, which is in the shade all afternoon. Entire track was visible as well as all of the pits. Seats were very comfortable, with backs and a small table in front for all of our stuff. Entry/Exit was reasonable. Love the fact that small coolers are allowed in. The only disappointment was that there were very limited vendors. I was expecting Indycar specific vendors with t-shirts and such, but there was only a small TMS gift shop with TMS-specific items and 1 Indycar t-shirt choice. Having said that, we'll definitely be back next year.
