About

Teddy Swims, the stage name for Atlanta singer-songwriter Jaten Dimsdale, has pulled from a number of influences including pop, rock, soul, and country to develop his own unique sound. The vocal powerhouse first found his stage presence in musical theater and as a touring musician for Atlanta-based rock groups and cover bands. In 2019, Teddy Swims began to make waves by posting covers of Michael Jackson, Shania Twain and other stars to YouTube, attracting millions of streams per video and earning a record deal with Warner Records by the end of the year. He released his debut EP Unlearning in 2021, followed by a collection of Christmas songs later that year and two EPs in 2022: Tough Love, which became his first project to hit the Billboard 200, and Sleep Is Exhausting. His debut album I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1) arrived in 2023, hosting his first Hot 100-charting single “Lose Control.” Teddy Swims has also proven to be the consummate collaborator, working with artists like Meghan Trainor, X Ambassadors, and Illenium.

    Great!

by LCrow on 3/31/22House of Blues New Orleans - New Orleans

It was a great time! We surprisingly had a Pugh standing room with the GA tickets we purchased, so that was a nice surprise. It was a little hot- I do wish they had the fans turned on, and the drinks were expensive, but that’s to be expected for a concert. Overall, it was enjoyable and I love Teddy Swims! Oh, and Stephen Day was AMAZING!

    Teddy is the best!

by Bwall on 3/27/22Orpheum - Tampa

The Orpheum is a fun, fantastic venue! The only blah thing is the beam that is right in front of the stage. But Teddy made up for that and put on such an amazing show!

Had the VIP package to Teddy Swims, at the Orpheum, in Tampa. Everything was wonderful from start to finish. Easy entry, great venue, plenty of time for Q&A, pictures, and acoustic performance with Teddy Swims. Being able to talk personally with Teddy was divine. Warm up act- Stephen Day, was terrific. The Teddy Swims performance exceeded my expectations. I wish I could do it all over, again!

Teddy Swims and Suzy Jones are amazing!

by Candace on 12/21/21Buckhead Theatre - Atlanta

The Buckhead theatre is am amazing venue that is the perfect size for an intimate experience. The staff is very helpful and efficient at getting all visitors to where they need to go in a timely manner. The first two performers did not have the talent level even closely comparable to Suzy and Teddy. However, the show was still amazing. Suzy Jones gave an amazing show and sounds even better live. Her vocals blew us away. Teddy Swims lived up to all of our expectations! He is so talented and entertaining. He seemed so down to earth and provided a great show for all of his fans.

    God time.

    by T. B. on 2/5/20A and R Music Bar - Columbus

First time at the venue, the staff was nice. Would have been nice if there was an awning or something over the sidewalk where you stand to get in the building. It rained quite a bit before the venue and the only option was to stand in the rain. The band was incredible and TS did not disappoint. The mans got some crazy pipes, unfortunately he didn’t do some of the songs we had hoped to hear because his piano player is in the hospital. Overall. It was a great experience!

    Just OK

by Rlb613 on 2/4/20The Club at Stage AE - Pittsburgh

This is a terrible concert venue. I was aware that its GA no seats...but there was no stage to speak of either so you can't see anything at all. The open act was bad. A song about social media and words she made up and alot of dialog about her emotional state. Don't know about you but I go to concerts to be entertained not depressed. Teddy was good. He did a few of the songs I was hoping for but I was pretty over it by the time he finally came on.

He goes by Teddy Swims and he is one of the biggest up and coming artist out there. He’s humble, fun, loving, sincere, vulnerable, soulful, and real. If you’re lucky enough to score a ticket, grab it while you can!!

    Maybe it's because I'm old...

by Kat on 1/29/20The Foundry - Philadelphia

Teddy has the voice of an soulful angel but live concerts tend to be too loud, so loud that it ruins the experience. Excess volume adds 0 to the experience. Even when younger, standing for hours on concrete flooring hurts. Would love to see more seating options.
