About

Teddy Swims, the stage name for Atlanta singer-songwriter Jaten Dimsdale, has pulled from a number of influences including pop, rock, soul, and country to develop his own unique sound. The vocal powerhouse first found his stage presence in musical theater and as a touring musician for Atlanta-based rock groups and cover bands. In 2019, Teddy Swims began to make waves by posting covers of Michael Jackson, Shania Twain and other stars to YouTube, attracting millions of streams per video and earning a record deal with Warner Records by the end of the year. He released his debut EP Unlearning in 2021, followed by a collection of Christmas songs later that year and two EPs in 2022: Tough Love, which became his first project to hit the Billboard 200, and Sleep Is Exhausting. His debut album I've Tried Everything but Therapy (Part 1) arrived in 2023, hosting his first Hot 100-charting single “Lose Control.” Teddy Swims has also proven to be the consummate collaborator, working with artists like Meghan Trainor, X Ambassadors, and Illenium.

    Disappointed

by Deb on 5/3/22Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

Totally disappointed and left early. I love Teddy and his beautiful and soulful voice! It was SOOOO LOUD that i couldn't understand a word of his lyrics. I think the venue was way too small for his sound mixers in Philadelphia. I will definitely try to see him again if he's in a larger venue or outside near me. Sending love to Teddy Swims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Band and music too loud

by Billd on 5/3/22Theatre of Living Arts - Philadelphia

Teddy is known for his voice. You could barely hear his voice over the music.

    Artist Extraordinaire

by Pmtodd on 5/3/22Le Studio TD - Montréal

Absolutely wonderful concert by Teddy Swims! Flawless vocals! I also loved his interaction with the audience. Even my husband, who only went to humor his wife, loved it! My only complaint is that I purchased the VIP package because it was my birthday, and I never got the before shoe instructions. My hotel in Montreal spent several hours that afternoon trying to reach the venue for me but no success. I have checked my email going back weeks and only one email saying my instructions would be sent in a few days. Never got it. Nothing in spam or trash either. So I ended up missing the entire event. The guy at the merchandise table did give me my gift bags, and that was nice, but what I really wanted was to meet Teddy on my birthday. I was very disappointed but the concert itself was phenomenal!

    AWESOME!!!

by STUDLEY on 4/26/22Majestic Theatre - Detroit

Great show very entertaining! He keeps you on your toes! You can tell he is a down to earth dude by keeping the crowd engaged! Even did a few songs w/o the band. We ran in to him at a restaurant and he is a genuine person. Took the time to have a quick photo op and talked with us like we were friends! Great show all the way around!

by Kuz459 on 4/25/22House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

Teddy was amazing as expected! Overall concert was great except for the sound for the opening band and when Teddy was speaking we found it very hard to hear and understand what was being said.

Cleveland welcomed me with warm smiles and kindness.

by Dee on 4/25/22House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

The whole vibe of being exactly where you are meant to be was apparent. I live in NY and have been feeling depleted for humanity. At times when customer service and taking pride in your occupation/career seem to be plummeting, Cleveland was a much needed breath of fresh air! From the moment I arrived, I felt like a special guest. I have a new found restored faith for humanity.

    Amazing

by Linda on 4/25/22House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

Teddy is so humble, he is truly grateful to his fans. His band are a wonderful group of talented musicians, if you haven’t seen them yet, do. You will be happy you did. Whether it’s a original song or a cover, Teddy is so soulful and truly feels the lyrics he sings. I am Thankful for Zac Brown for having Teddy tour with them last year and introducing us to this amazing group of humans. A fan for life.

Could hardly hear the artist when they spoke to the audience. It was very muffled audio. Other than that Teddy was amazing!

    Wear comfortable shoes

by Jess on 4/25/22House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

The concert was great...opening act ehh not the best but Teddy Swims sounded phenomenal!! A lot of times when you see artists live they don't sound nearly as good as they sound on the edited radio but he sounded amazing!!! True artist. The venue is really neat however not a ton of room and you are kind of packed in like sardines The section I was in was standing only so quite a few hours of standing So be sure to wear comfortable shoes. Due to the amount of people getting to and from the bar and the bathroom was quite a feat.

Um… WOW! The talent this man has is incredible!

by Jessieka84 on 4/25/22House of Blues Cleveland - Cleveland

I had the opportunity of a VIP experience with a short performance, Q&A, photo op, and goody bag. He delivered such an entertaining, authentic performance and spent ample time with each fan. That being said, the concert itself was marvelous! His band, the lighting, the music, and his ability to engage the audience was exceptional. This guy is going to go far!!! The venue always has aggressive attitudes and are very “by the book.” Security rejected a fan when she reached out to touch Teddy’s hand and he reached back. We ate at the restaurant and we’re walking the hall to the venue and were interrogated and followed. Obnoxious!
