Uncle Ted works three months a year! He is an artist with a lot of passion. Be sure to see him before he's gone!!
Played like the old days.Lots of energy.encores were great.
He was more into yelling about his viewpoints then playing the music we wanted to hear. No wonder he's "Terrible Ted". Big ego, terrible concert. Waste of money and great seats.
This concert was AWESOME!! Uncle Teddy knows how to put on a show - he was energetic, crazy, loud, and the music ROCKED. We didn't get there too terribly early but still managed to be right up close. Really great atmosphere, people were having fun but nobody was out of control.
As an Adult this event would of made my summer , but like MANY others that brought their kid like i did I was and my poor son was ashamed and disappointed from the language Mr. Ted used rite off the get go . I know that this is Teds Time and his place for his event but I feel somewhere along he had forgotten his mind set on how not to be all balls out Mr .me and be all for the big people , maybe I didn't stay long enuf to see but we couldn't stay the entire show for we had not a pleasant experience.... Didn't expect this after decades of listening to Ted and the tv shows and reading his magazine scripts and either did a young boy that grew interest for his music and the ways of our modern hunting world.
This was our 4th Ted concert as a couple, and we loved it as much as the others. STRANGLEHOLD is the best guitar song ever, there's nothing more exciting than seeing it in concert! We also loved Cat Scratch Fever, Free For All, Fred Bear, Wango Tango. Hope he never stops playing Stranglehold at his concerts, we'll continue to go each year - can't wait to see him next year!!! Ted gives THE best concerts we've ever been to!! And we're only in our 30's! lol!
Zoso was great/Jackyl kicked ass/Marshall Tucker was horrible/Ted Nugent kicked more ass
It was nice to see Ted Nugent at the ol' Pine Knob music amphitheater! Everytime he goes out he pours his heart and soul into his performances. He was my first concert in 1995 and he is as good...if not BETTER then he was back then! The guy really can shred. I sit there in amazement at his riffs and how every show he plays... he just gets better and gains strength. The stage banter is hilarious and there is something for any kind of fan. You will laugh, cry, and rock. An all-American rock out. Get to the ol' Pine Knob early, bring a grill and your favorite beverages... this is what summer rock shows are about!!
Uncle Ted doesn't disappoint, shredding the best guitar licks in the world
nothing fancy here just Ted Nugent his band and all the music you remember. His political views are evident as he sings songs from the last 30 years. It was a great outdoor concert and the last of his 2010 tour. Uncle Teds love for Detroit shows and he hasnt forgotten his roots. Show was a great way to end summer
Saw Ted at DTE Sunday night....another amazing show!!! This is my fifth time seeing him, starting back with his "Whiplash Bash" on New Year's Eve in Detroit years ago. Played all the great classic tunes again, along with a Motown tribute. And I always appreciate the fact that his ticket prices are not outrageous, and t-shirts were only $20.
We've seen Ted in concert multiple times over the past 35 years. It was classic Ted. One of the best performances we ever saw ! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.
That guy can play. Fans packed DTE to come see Uncle Ted play in his hometown. It was epic.
Awesome Uncle Deadly Tedly at his rawest. My ears are still ringing. I'd go again.
My sons 1st concert and we had a great time been along time since I have been out to Pine Knob and was glad to be back.
I have to say Ted will rock your ass off if you let him. At his age he can still rock better than most!!!! Great to have hime back in Michigan. As long as hes still rocking I will go see him year after year.
Hopefully, Uncle Ted will see this as his brother, Johnny, was my best friend back in elementary school (Rosedale Park, Detroit). While Johnny and I have lost contact with each other, Ted was gracious enough through the years to allow me to see him backstage a couple of times when I lived in Philadelphia and when he played one time in Ann Arbor. I brought a buddy of mine to the Sept. 5 concert and he was wowed by Ted's virtuosity (as I was too, as usual). It is always a treat to see Uncle Ted b/c I remember him as a kid always practicing his guitar up in his room in Rosedale Park. I'm proud to have known him more than just as a fan. His hard work back then is inspiring me now as I TRY to learn 6-string guitar as a 57-year-old geezer. I also LOVE his bold stance against what's happening in Washington right now and his love for Michigan (even though he's now an "expatriate").
Ted Nugent brought the house down at DTE. Awesome performance. Crowd never sat down, including the hill. Amazing guitarist, you'd never no the man is 62 years old. Will definetely continue to see him everytime he comes to Detroit!! Thanks Ted for the AWESOME night!!
Love DTE - always a good time/experience. Ted was great - at 62 he can still rock hard. His show has the same intensity as it did the first time I seen Ted back in the 80's! Ted, Mick and Greg put on a awesome show.
