The staff at Freedom Hill is knowledgeable and friendly. The seating is comfortable. The sound engineer is deaf as a door post. Uncle Ted played like he was 20 years old again.
Great venue. Always have a good time there! Always a good seat. And, Ted’s retirement tour did not disappoint!!

Ted played awesome and me and my husband absolutely LOVED the show! Lots of energy! We also enjoyed the Hillbilly Vegas! Sorry he won't be back to Michigan.
Incredible concert as usual been seeing the Motor City Mad Man since 1979. Just wished he played a longer set.🎙🥁🎸🎹🎼🎶🎵

I’ve seen the Motor City Madman several times, this show was up there as one of the best! Ted is a phenomenal guitarist, and it doesn’t get talked about enough. I’m glad he is from my home state of Michigan, proud to call him a Michigander!
Loved Freedom Hill. Happy for the free parking but took a long time getting out. Ted's show was very pro America and pro Freedom which I feel strong about. However I pay for concert tickets to hear great music. Ted did not disappoint on that. Snakeskin Cowboy and Hey Baby were totally awesome! The political rant and the FJB chant/song lasted far to long. I am sure Ted does not care about my opinion but If I wanted to attend a political rally I would attend one. When I pay for a concert ticket I expect one. To be clear my political views don't necessarily disagree with Ted but it is not why I paid for "concert"tickets to hear. In short I enjoyed the music! Some songs were awesome. Nice to see a 75 year old still rocking solid. Freedom Hill staff did a great job.
Concert was outstanding, but concession line wait times were long and alcoholic beverage service suspended at 9PM.
Ted, as always, put on a great show. His energy and the energy of his band was amazing. His guitar skills are remarkable and his playing was even better than usual. What a great concert.

Ted was great as always, not the send off I thought he would get in his former home state. The opening act, Hillbilly Vegas was pretty good! The venue was at it's worst I've ever witnessed. Extremely poor Ushers or crowd control (whatever they are called). People rushed the aisles and stood there the whole concert, the Supervisor told me "We can't do anything, we are so short staffed"crazy excuses. People were fighting and no action by the staff. Very disappointed that Freedom Hill management doesn't appear to care. Exiting the parking lot was ridiculous, the only the Police were were working at the very end of the exit/road. In the end, I wish this concert had been at Pine Knob or elsewhere.
Everyone at the venue was friendly and helpful. Ted’s show was amazingly good.
Ted, his drummer, and his bass player rocked almost non-stop the entire time. Ted played guitar like the Motor City Madman that he is! Gave it all he had. Wow! Even sounded more powerful than the original studio recordings. Sad to think it’s allegedly his last tour. Prior to the show, Shemane Nugent was spotted at one of the control boards in the middle of the audience. What a nice surprise! Fans were taking selfies with her. Hillbilly Vegas was a good opening act. They pointed out that the entire night was real live uncut rock n roll without anything pre-recorded mixed in. How refreshing!!
I've been going to concerts for 40 years that was the worst concert I've ever been to in my life I left within two songs it was the worst.....
Ted was absolutely amazing what a great show. No doubt one of the greatest guitarists in the world!
I happen to catch Ted in the late 70's then again in the 80's with the Damned Yankees. He hasn't lost a step in his performance, looking great for 75 years old and sounding exactly the same. It was a very entertaining show!
So glad I got to see Ted before he wrapped it up. Such a guitar wizard , he shredded the entire time , didn’t really stop for chit chat between songs just kept playing. The band was awesome and played the hits!
As always I enjoyed Ted’s performance. Our seats were excellent. Getting in and out of the venue was quick.
