TV comedy icon Conan O'Brien's production company, Team Coco, has been involved with a broad range of projects — including live events like monthly comedy shows in L.A. featuring a multitude of comedians. But naturally, when it comes to live performance (or anything else, for that matter), Conan himself is the star attraction. 

As far as actual stand-up tours, his concert outings have been few and far between on account of his television commitments. When Conan does hit the road, it's a pretty big deal. For instance, after his 2010 stand-up tour, he became consumed with working on his new show for TBS. Consequently, he didn't go on tour again for eight years. 

But his 2018 show 'Conan & Friends: An Evening of Stand-Up and Investment Tips' emerged as a whole new kind of live format for Conan. His headlining slot was supported by different groupings of comics over the course of the tour, including Rory Scovel, Ron Funches, Deon Cole, Laurie Kilmartin, and Marina Franklin.

The roots of the comedic solar system that revolves around Conan O'Brien go all the way back to 2010, when he was hosting 'The Tonight Show' on NBC. The plan to give Jay Leno's show a new start time that would push Conan into a later slot birthed an uproar among fans, who championed their hero with the "I'm With Coco" campaign (the nickname had been given to Conan by Tom Hanks). 

A community was born, inspiring the name and focus of O'Brien's production company Team Coco, which first came into being when he mounted his 2010 Legally Prohibited from Being Funny on Television Tour. He started his new, self-titled show on TBS later that same year, and since then, Team Coco has expanded in its scope. It presents monthly comedy showcases in L.A. and extends into everything from merchandising to digital studio operations. But it remains first and foremost a comedy icon's primary means of connecting with his huge fan base.
