The TaxSlayer Gator Bowl is an annual postseason college football game in Jacksonville, Florida. First held on January 1, 1946 at Jacksonville’s Fairfield Stadium, later renamed Gator Bowl Stadium, the event was played on the same field until 1993, when its current home at EverBank Stadium was built on the site and returned in 1995. Although the Gator Bowl began as a showcase for at least one member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the game’s opponents have more recently featured opponents from either the SEC, Big Ten and Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). Across 80 editions of the Gator Bowl, memorable moments include the Pittsburgh Panthers’ 37-9 upset over the South Carolina Gamecocks in 1980 and Florida State coach Bobby Bowden’s last game in 2010. It was a great time and very good experience.The parking was easy check in was very good. The food lines were quick and lots of choices . I thought traffic control could have been better leaving the game
Good ushers, got us to our seats, concessions were close and bathrooms too.
The Gator Bowl folks really know how to do it right! Plenty of folks helping fans with directions. Using the Game Day Express is the only way to go to the game. The JTA runs a great program. Concessions were fantastic! Lots of open concessions and lines moved quickly to keep from missing the action on the field. If I ever get the chance to watch another bowl game, it will definitely be at the Gator Bowl!!!
Pep rally was great at the beach. Great college football spirit and fun. Well organized with police, traffic, beach venue. Game was super atmosphere, well played by Clemson & Kentucky. Stadium was great and fans showed great sportsmanship.
The game was great and Ticketmaster made it easy. From Parking to the game everything was a breeze. The technology worked and everything was as advertised. Highly recommend Ticketmaster!

River taxis, club level, great seats, weather and game.
They need large kiosk at every gate showing were you are and where the stadium seating sections are! We enter at gate 1 and had to walk all the way around the stadium to get to section #137!
Love going to this bowl game! We choose a team to cheer for and go from there. Favorite place to be is in the end zone. Love college football and seeing teams that I normally wouldn’t see play.
Overall great experience. Felt rushed to leave stadium. Did not love that young children were given tickets to sit behind us and scream for the other team. Fine to give away tickets — maybe have a separate section though.
It's a unique experience I was so excited to see Kentucky win but was not to be even though it was a great game
Jacksonville was a great setting for an exciting Gator bowl between Clemson and Kentucky. A back and forth nail biter which went down to the last minute. We purchased great seats in the fourth row so that we would have a perfect view of the field, regrettably a bunch of former Kentucky students who had tickets in the second row decided to stand up for 100% of the game blocking our view. We tried to shift into other seats as best we could, but watched most of the game on the big screen instead. It did somewhat ruin the experience, but will hope for classier fans next season.
