Tanya Tucker on Tour
From the beginning of her career, when she was a teenager who sounded like someone way beyond her years, Tanya Tucker has been blessed with an uncommonly expressive voice. Throughout her artistic evolution over the decades, that's never changed. To this day, when you catch the country legend in concert, you're listening to a singer who can tell a story in song like nobody else. And what's country music about, if not telling stories? Whether she's delivering some of her earliest hits, like "Delta Dawn" and "Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone)," digging into later material, or changing things up completely with covers of tunes by the likes of the Eagles or Bruce Springsteen, Tucker approaches each performance of every song like it's the most important one of her life — because in that moment, it is.
Tanya Tucker in Concert
Tanya Tucker has blazed a long and singular path in country music, starting in 1972 when the shockingly precocious singer, only 13 years old at the time, debuted with her hit "Delta Dawn" (before Helen Reddy ever recorded it). With a musical maturity that made her sound unquestionably adult, she churned out a string of No. 1 country hits while she was still in her teens, songs like "What's Your Mama's Name" and "Would You Lay With Me (In a Field of Stone)." And of course the hits kept coming after she moved on to actual adulthood, with Tucker maintaining a presence in the Country Top 10 all the way into the late '90s. She's always had an outlaw attitude that set her apart from the pack — for instance, she released a rock 'n' roll album in 1979, when such things were unheard of for mainstream country stars. So her appeal has lasted, existing outside the constantly changing trends of country. For instance, when she released 2019's While I'm Livin', her first album in a decade, enough people were paying attention to ensure that the record made it into the Top 10 on the Country Album charts.

Tanya Tucker is just as good an entertainer today as she has always been. She still has the ability to inspire me. She is a professional no question about it. The price of the tickets was well worth the entertainment. I enjoyed every moment of the performance.
Even though she is a lot older her voice is still great
Tanya concert was great. Her voice wqas better than ever. She put on a hour long show of nothing but hits!
I loved the show Tanya has a beautiful voice and is entertaining.
She sang many of her old favorites and her friendly personality showed through. She had her daughters Presley and Kayla sing songs too. Very enjoyable performance. She signed hats and albums for the fans and one person in the audience had an old junior high school yearbook that she signed for him. I really enjoyed it.
Not enough of her early hits. Used event to promote daughters. 13 yr old did not even appear to want to be on stage.
Tanya is always full of energy. She's a great performer!
Was a great crowd and lots of folks to see Tanya BUT the chairs are small and cramped together and the a/c needed to be cranked up a bit. Everyone was sweating including the band and Tanya on stage..... Tanya did a great job! and did a lot of her old hits but less than in previous concerts. She also seems to play to a select group of regular fans that sit in the front or near the front and much of the show is taken up with her stopping singing and having conversations with them. Not real entertaining if you aren't one of them. I think maybe she just needed to catch her breath between numbers is why she did this and all the stalling. Lose some weight Ms. T and put those cigs. down! You are awesome! and I would come to see you anywhere BUT over the past several years I have seen you let yourself go and the show is becoming less and less. You have cut many hit songs from the show and it was very disappointing..We love your daughters too but aren't really there to see them. We are there to see you. Also, maybe change up your routine a bit as I have seen ya 5 times in the past five years and the jokes and one liners and bits are exactly the same... And do you have any other clothes besides black? You look great in red and other colors too ya know! With all this being said I love Tanya Tucker and think she is one of the best entertainers there is. She still has her voice and looks and I think she just needs to change things up a bit!
We had a great time and her daughters are very good singers.
Tanya still has what it takes. She puts on a good show. Even her daugthers are great. I like how her band members are all dressed in slacks. This shows she has class.
Good show, enjoyed all her songs and her two daughters singing was an added bonus!
Tanya Tucker was awsome, would see her again in a heartbeat.
What Tanya sang was fine, especially for her many hardcore fans in the audience. The problem is that the "concert" was less than 50 minutes long. When you subtract the two songs sung by her daugther which were fine and the band's introduction at the beginning of the concert, which was fine, Tanya was on stage about 40 minutes. That translated into $2 per minute for the tickets for my wife and I. We are casual fans so maybe we are being unfair. I expect her hardcore fans would be thrilled if she sang 7 songs and then left the building. We were not thrilled.....Also no encore was even considered.
I am new to the country music scene. I didn't know the songs that they performed, but they did an awesome job of performing. The band members were very personable and Tanya did a great job of keeping the show entertaining!
I loved it, wish it had lasted longer. She had so much to share and didn`t. Great Personality. Love Her!
It has been many years since I last saw her and I was not disappointed one bit. A class act.
Enjoyed the show very much. Her voice is still amazing Wish that she would've sang an encore.
The voice was there. the rest not so much. was almost painfull to watch at times. drove longer to get there than she sang, and what was it with no encore!!!
Thank you, Tanya for being "real!" What a down to earth person! She put on a show the old fashioned way-talking and relating to the audience. I feel like I know her and we are best friends! Why the heck does Taylor Swift keep winning awards when Tanya Tucker is still performing? wake up country fans!! Seeing Tanya was on our bucket list, but having seen her once, we want to see her again! I'm guessing that each of her shows is different and worthwhile in their own special way-no cookie cutter here. She can still sing like an angel and act like a devil. Love her!
