    Good and bad

by G on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

Overall the concert was amazing !!!! The performers did a awesome job …HOWEVER I am upset that it started two hours late i came to see tamera and had to leave once she finally came out because I didn’t want to be stuck in the terrible traffic I was in when I came so we had to leave like 30 mins before the crowd started leaving I was upset because I really wanted to see her :( also it should have been more food vendors or they should have brought alot of food to that type of event I waited In line for 40 mins only to get to the top of the line for them to tell me “no more food” so you know I was PISSED !!!!!! Other then that it was a nice concert . Can’t wait to see tamela again ! Hopefully next year IT START ON TIME !!!!!

    Awesome!!

by Kandis W on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

This concert was well above my expectations! The worship was EVERYTHING. Tasha Cobbs was the best by far, then Smokie, then Donnie. Tamela was good but she came at the very end and by then the bar was set waaaay High. One thing, the concert started an HOUR later than it was supposed to which meant we were an house

    Great concert! Loved it!

by IknowtheGospel on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

Super unorganized at the entry doors. The bar code in my ticket app kept saying it had been used. Weird... Took the entry staff 10 minutes to finally get it to work.

The show was spectacular. The only downfall was the hour late start, but this did not take away from the annoited performances.

    Not happy

by China on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

I had to park on the front street. They sold about 8000 tics. Where did they think we were gonna park. We missed part of the show bc there was no parking for blocks in a residential area. They should have a relationship with the area businesses to use their lots. Also, Tamala Mann didnt sing her signature songs. We were waiting!!! Smokie Norfolk rocked the house he should have been the headline. I slept thru Donnie and Tasha Cobb was great. Mr. Brown is crazy, I love him.

    Great Show BUT...

by Mrs Douglas on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

The show was great! Doors open late. Show started late. Show ended too late. I left at 10pm, right after Tamala Mann's first song. It was A Sunday and I had to go to work in the morning. There was no consideration for my time and money.

    Great Show

by TashaChi on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

I arrived an hour early due to anticipated traffic jam and because I wanted to find good parking. When I arrived there wasn't much traffic and I found a great parking space. The issue began with trying to get in because it quickly became crowded. I love the fact that “Ooh We it is”, a popular Chicago Soul food restaurant was there so attendees could purchase food. The worst part of the show was the wait. The show started an hour late which meant people either had to leave early and miss Tamela man or stay later and deal with other consequences. All of the performers were excellent. David Mann was very funny! Traffic leaving out was terrible as there were about 8 thousand people who attended the event! Although I love coming each year, the show needs to start on time

Great Time in Lord needed more dicibles!

by Jeremiah on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

This was a great spirt filled event. I just had a hard time hearing. I think the sound check wasn't right as we were next to the stage in section AA and couldn't hear like we should have being that close

    Kinda Disappoint

by Ms. Trecey on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

I think Tamela Mann is Awesome on any given day, but on Sunday May 14, 2023. She didn't take the stage until 10:30 pm. This was totally unacceptable when she suppose to be the main attraction.

    Disappointed

by Ton on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

I started my Mother’s Day off being really excited about the concert that I was going to see, I am a huge Tamka Mann and Tasha Cobb fan, I arrived early to be sure to get a park, first disappointment was doors didn’t open until 5:30pm, I stood in a line to enter house of hope for 1 hour, house of hope had no order, it was a disaster, some of their team didn’t have ticket readers on hand, the show was late starting, the show didn’t flow, it had all kinds of inconsistencies, because the show started so late, I didn’t get to see Tamla Mann because I couldn’t stay any longer to wait, after all this was a Sunday night, never will I pay to see another event at house of hope.
