    Doors and tickets

by Bobbie on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

Please help the venue organize the way the patrons are greeted and how the proof of ticket is accepted. It would have been less confusion with more people working the doors and designated lines for each door. The entire concert was very good.

A little unorganized. Not on Tamela, but the organization. Late opening the doors, and about one hour later starting. Equipment fail. But the performance was 👌 awesome!

    Fiasco

by NativeSon on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

Didn't get a chance to see Tamela Mann, although she was the last to perform. The House of Hope does not know how to host successful events. Doors opened 30 mins late and the performance started one hour later than the scheduled time. Totally unorganized from the start and there was a 15 min delay due to the sound system.

I truly enjoyed my Mother’s Day event at the House Of Hope. An experience I will never forget, so many amazing artists in the building spiritually uplifted me for sure, spending this first Mother’s Day without my MOM has definitely been bittersweet for me.💔💔 Thanks for an awesome night. Blessings!!

    The performance was excellent

by fan on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

The concert performer were all great, however the concert was too long for a Sunday night and I had to go to work the next day. The event was suppose to start at 6pm and it probably started close to 7:30pm and the event wasn't over until 11pm. you can tell by the lack of applause that the latter artist was getting because we were all tire especially for 5 hours of sitting.

    Good but Room for Improvement

by Teny on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

The concert started an hour late. It stated on the tickets 6pm. I think if the concert starts at 7pm it should say on the tickets doors open at 6pm. The concert was good. Tamela Mann didn't come out until after 10pm. We stayed until 1032pm but had to leave.

    Horrible

by Grace on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

I have purchased my ticket. I have selected add ticket to Apple wallet but the QR code is not transferred only show the seat location. I have spend hours on phone with customer service but no results. The concert is Mother Day gift but could not get inside to see this concert because my ticket did not show QR code. I am very upset and disappointed.

    Is this normal?

by Tamara on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

This was my first experience at a professional gospel concert. The tickets that we purchased did not exist once we got to the church arena. We were scanned in through the entrance door with proper purchase tickets, but the seats themselves, were not there for us to sit down in only one out of the four purchased tickets existed for us to sit in. And Asher assisted us to other seating so that we could enjoy the show. Unfortunately, the show started over an hour late so we had to leave early because we didn’t expect it to go two hours past the time posted. Of course Tamela Mann was the final act which is who we were very excited to see, but couldn’t stay because we had to travel back to Madison Wisconsin, which is where we drove from to attend the concert. The lineup of worship performers was amazing and I’m glad they all showed for the event. However, if we can’t stay to watch the show within a reasonable amount of time that we allotted for the event, it makes it hard to feel that it was worth it.

    Awesome experience

by Nrjmom on 5/17/23House of Hope - Chicago

The Holy Spirit was in the place. I just wished it started on time due to the tardiness it was after 11pm when it was over. I stayed until the end because I didn’t want to miss a minute of the experience. Great job by all performers!!!!
