Tampe Impala in Concert
Tame Impala is Kevin Parker - the almost legendary messianic figure and creative soul who has developed the particular sonic universe of psychedelic pop cultivated with guitar pedals, delays, reverbs and liquid explosions of color. There's no one like him in the current music scene. We were left in 2015 with Currents, Tame Impala's third album which ventured further into the pop genre, and added dance beats and R&B that only served to underpin the enthronement of the Australian. For his fourth album, Tame Impala remained true to his usual impenetrability and stands silent, but we have seen him parade through a number of collaborations: he has shared the studio with Mark Ronson and SZA, he has produced Lady Gaga and Travis Scott, Rihanna covered him on her latest album, he has remixed Mick Jagger and Miguel and has released songs with A$AP, Rocky, Theophilus London and ZHU. So what does all this mean? Well, we know what Tame Impala has been until now, but we haven't a clue what will happen next. And that can only be a good thing.
this concert was everything and more. truly amazing performance. The way they connected to the crowd through their behaviors was amazing. i stopped for a second during Eventually and just looked around and got teary eyed by how warm and safe and together it felt to be in the crowd. like one big hug the whole concert. 10/10.
top 5 experiences of my life. i had what i want to call an almost telepathic connection with kevin when i was wishing for my favorite song to be played next. he specifically read my mind among the 1000s who attended. i was trippin balls and this only elevated my high. song was posthumous forgiveness, banger.

Kevin puts on an absolutely amazing show. One of a kind experience. (Sneaking into the pit made it better) But regardless the energy is just out of this world. I cant wait to see Tame Impala again.
It was amazing. Met all my expectations. He played all my favorite songs and it was so entertaining and relaxing.

He really put on a great show! Even though that venue is tough with acoustics since it’s on the river, he still smashed it. The sound was great. Lovedddd the light show too!
I’ve seen him twice now and it gets absolutely better every single time. It is indeed life changing and I’m convinced everyone needs to see him. Vibes are immaculate

Me and my friends had a wonderful time at the Tame Impala concert. The experience was definitely one I will never forget. Bring in the pit with all those people really made the experience top notch. I had fun and the concert was amazing, the sound was awesome, and the lighting was the best I have ever seen. My favorite song was Eventually.
Best party I’ve been to in awhile . The light show was amazing and the sound too . The total vibe of the show and the energy was out of this world , thank you Tam Impala for hosting our town !
I went to this concert not enjoying large crowds and knowing only a little of the Tame Impala catalog, but I knew from their "Wave House" session that I was going to see something special at this show. The musicianship and vocal quality was excellent... Kevin is a charismatic leader and crammed in so many songs, you really got your money's worth. The vibe Tame Impala creates is so warm and exciting that I didn't mind the crowd at all (and it was packed). I look forward to seeing Tame Impala again when they return to my area and highly recommend you go see them if you get the chance!
The sound should have been louder at the venue, but Tame Impala was fantastic. I would buy tickets to their show every chance i get. Honestly its the only band I’m truly excited to see live.
In loved everything about their performance except for the confetti. It all went in out river which is a super bummer!!

The venue is amazing, easy to park, rental chairs in the cheap seats, amazing food and drinks, and plenty of it. The sound quality was insane, the volume could be a little louder. The bands and security seemed on top of it when people got in trouble upfront, which was a welcome and awesome new thing for me to witness at a show. The only thing that could use improvement was maybe not shooting a ton of confetti into the air, taken by the wind, over the crowd, and into the Cape Fear River. We all looked at each other and were like, "That might not have been the best decision." The lasers and smoke were insane without it. Overall, it was the best show I've seen maybe since Foo fighters at the Supper Club in NYC, 2002.
Kevin is the absolute best, great show. Do whatever it takes to get him back here!
I mean wow. I don't even know what to say. Tame Impala put on one amazing show in Wilmington. The energy was amazing. The lights. The sound. I loved the all general admission. There was so much more room to dance and enjoy the show. They played for over two hours I think and it was just amazing amazing. Can't wait to see them live again!
