    Cheesy Circus

by Rustynurse on 3/23/16Canton Civic Center - Canton

Cheesy performances even for small children. No clowns...Johnny Rocket was not kid friendly for little ones. Too much time lapse between performances. We saw more of roadies than we did circus performers. Definitely NOT worth the price. They seemed like 2no or even 3rd string performers. 1 performer did 3 acts. The only act which was semi circus..was the elephants. Will not go again ....I heard similar remarks all around my family and me.

    not great

by dsappntedmumof3 on 3/22/16Canton Civic Center - Canton

the circus was ok... no clowns were apart of the acts...which my kids were disappointed with that..during the intermission we paid to go on an elephant ride and the people that worked for the circus helping people on and off were rude at best...and I found that to be the case with the face painting as well....the Shriners are a great organization that I like supporting but after this experience I cant say that I'd go again...

    Amazing Experience

by JoeyKD on 3/22/16Canton Civic Center - Canton

The performance was humorous and entertaining as well as full of talent. Well constructed and well executed all the way around. Very fun place for a family outing. But besides having a wonderful performance, Tadmor went above and beyond for me personally. They generously allowed me to propose to my girlfriend during one of their shows. Everybody was so helpful and and unbelievably generous. Very warm welcoming vibes from everybody. It didn't feel like just a favor they were doing for me, it was life changing for me and everyone involved in the slightest (even the audience) treated it as such. They genuinely cared and were thrilled to help. This is the only time I'll be on one knee but my wife and I will be back every single year. Wouldn't miss it!

This was NOT a family event!

by DisgustedMom2 on 3/22/16Canton Civic Center - Canton

From the "sultry stewardesses" to the barely dressed Moon girl, this circus was disgusting. Why is it necessary to dress the circus performers in almost nothing? My 5 year old continually asked me "mommy, why are they naked?" Well, they weren't quite naked, they were wearing what a stripper would and from where we sat you could barely tell they were dressed. Sickening. Also, everything costs $10. A picture with Mater or iron man. A 30 second ride on an elephant or a bag of cotton candy. That's right!!! $10 for a bag of cotton candy which likely took 1 tsp. of sugar to make. Unbelievable. I'm not sure if this is what circuses are made of "these days", as it's been about 20 years since I was a child attending a circus, but I will NEVER go back to another circus based on this experience. It was not worth the $200 we spent en total.

    Shrine Circus small but nice!!!!

by Eteick on 3/21/16Canton Civic Center - Canton

This circus is small but nice the nicest thing about it is that only one ring at a time has something going on it's not like the bigger circuses where you have 2 or 3 rings going at the same time and the second you have your head turned you miss something amazing! Most importantly is that this circus is for good causes and the shrine is great when it comes to taking care of children and families that are in need!

    creative and unique

by treebug on 3/31/15Canton Civic Center - Canton

Fast spaced, exciting, and enjoyable. That best describes the Shrine Circus that was in town last weekend. We didn't take any kids with us but all the kids around us were having a VERY good time eating cotton candy and popcorn as they watched the various acts. I asked one 4 year old what he liked best about the circus. He announced that the motocycles were the best. This was a first for us to see motorbikes doing stunts and it was really very exciting to see the many tricks that can be done on the ramp. What did we like the best? We very much liked watching the tiger tamer get those 5 big cats to do their tricks.

Although the money from this even goes to a good cause, the show itself was not worth the money. I will most likely not return to the shriners circus again, if i am going to spend good money on tickets i will spend it and see the Ringling Brother Barnum amd Bailey, have seen them several times and there is no comparison, by far the very best. We left early from shriners circus bc even my kids were bored.

    Best Yet!

by casey0818 on 3/30/15Canton Civic Center - Canton

We had a great time. I felt like a kid again. Great date night. Got to ride an elephant, eat cotton candy, they called us up on stage and I got to attempt to jump rope with Johnny Rocket. It was so much fun. Keep up the great work!

We had front row seats, so we loved the action being easy to see! My 3 yr old loved that you could ride an elephant! How cool is that! The canton civic is small , so all seats seemed to be good.

Good time for kids, but good cause and good price.

Unorganized. Tacky. Those poor tigers need to be far far away from those trainers. The entire time they were on stage they did nothing but growl, snarl, show their teeth and constantly flinch bc they were scared they were going to get hit! It was heartbreaking. I'm not sure if all circus' are like this, this is the first time I've ever been to one. I will for sure never go back. It was a waste of money. Give those tigers and that elephant the life they deserve:(

Way too much acrobats. Clowns did 2 skits and were very short. 5 minutes with the elephant. Very expensive for such a small circus. Will NOT be back.

    Mildly entertaining - but overpriced

by Michelle12345678 on 3/25/14Canton Civic Center - Canton

The circus was just OK. It was really quite long (2 hours 45 minutes!) and was only mildly entertaining. The games were really overpriced ($5.00 to go down air slide just two times!) and elephant ride was $10 each to walk in a *very* tiny circle twice. It started about 1/2 hour late. It appears they toned down the hard sell on the light up toys, which is good. They did try to sell them, but it wasn't "in your face", like previous reviewers had mentioned. We went once for the "circus experience" for our two boys (5 and 3), but probably will skip the next time. A very positive attribute was that the size of the venue (on smaller side), made it great to see everything! We got general admission seats and could clearly see everything, which was nice. It wasn't bad, just not overwhelming...

    TERRIBLE!

by DBrooks0916 on 3/24/14Canton Civic Center - Canton

This circus was terrible. Tickets were expensive and it was a waste of our time! very unorganized and cheaply put on.

The acts were to slow and did not grab the attention of my grandson, or the little children in front of us. They did not keep things moving.

I was very disappointed. I thought everything was entirely too pricey. I bought front row seats and they barely did anything in the ring in which I was in front of.

    Tadmor Shrine Circus

by VeryDissatisfied1000 on 3/25/13Canton Civic Center - Canton

The acts were pretty good for the most part, but overall the show was one big advertisement for souvenirs. The Ringmaster was constantly "plugging" every light-up or blow-up toy imaginable, even bringing them out to the center ring to entice the kids. It was a shameless marketing ploy and not worth the money.
