Tacoma Youth Symphony Tickets

Wonderful concert by all groups in TYSA! I especially enjoyed the Nightmare Before Christmas rendition.

Maestro Cobbs took our daughter to Carnegie Hall in 2000 which was a great experience for her and us! We had not stayed involved with the Tacoma Youth Symphony after she graduated but when I heard that Dr. Cobbs was retiring and would be honored at his last concert with the Youth Symphony I knew I had to be there. The speakers that talked about all he had accomplished were informative and I learned a lot more about his terrific accomplishments. And the music the youth played during the concert was top notch and entertaining!

Stunning! Breathtaking! Could not have been a more beautiful and uplifting experience, nor a more beautiful tribute to Dr. Paul-Elliott Cobbs. It was exhilarating! The TYSA Board and Staff did as tremendously outstanding job in creating this marvelous event and celebration of the life and accomplishments of the retiring Dr. Cobbs, the latter of whom was deserving of all the accolades and plaudits. The chosen program was also excellent, presumably selected by Dr, Cobbs, which, then, by definition, it becomes excellent. The embellishments for the tribute event, such as having Thank You Cards available to allow people to honor Dr. Cobbs by writing notes, and arranging for the photo opportunities with Dr. Cobbs, all were marvelous touches which everyone can remember, especially Dr. Cobbs, too! The Pantages Theater itself-- the space, and ambience -- provided a remarkable, outstanding setting for this glorious event! All the leaders and staff who sustain the presence of this space and place in our town are to be commended for their commitments and results, in this regard.

If you like going to the symphony, these TYSA Symphonies are a cost effective way that benefit the community. You get to go for less price, the kids are adorable and good musicians, and you help put them through college. Come have a good time.

It was so inspiring and uplifting to see the youth symphony perform at Pantages. The speakers were great too, all around it was a great night out!

TYSO 60th anniversary concert showcased all ages of musicians. The performances are always amazing. It never ceases to amaze me that these teachers and staff successfully nurture young musicians to study, practice and perform very difficult pieces of music.

Seeing Tacoma Youth Symphony at the Pantages was great. This is such a beautuful venue. TYS is always impressuve. It was a wonderful concert

TYSA did such an amazing job! Stellar performances from the youngest orchestra to the top with fun pieces and creative costumes. The emcee was witty and fun, and the whole evening was so special. Thank you, TYSA, for such a wonderful concert!!
