    Friday Night Fireworks

by Play Ball on 6/5/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

If you you enjoy baseball and family time this is a must for you. There is a playground for kids to enjoy along with many different activites during the game. Delicious food and drink options throughout the park. During the summer every Friday night after the game they have a fireworks show. Loved it!

    Outdoorsman

    by NMBulldog80 on 5/30/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

I love an open air baseball stadium. Parking was a challenge, but I took the advise of arriving hour early and had plenty of time use the men’s room, grab a cold one and find my seat before the game started. The Rainers got off to a rough start, but they sure made it worth staying all 9 innings. There were many choices of food and beverages to enjoy. The Friday night fireworks show was an awesome finish to a great night at the ballpark. I’m already planning on going to more games this summer. Go Rainiers!

    Slightly disipointed

by T dog on 5/17/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Over all the view is amazing not a bad seat in the house. The experience was disminished with loss of their long time hype man not entertaining the crowd during game down times. The crew really needs to pick up the slack or find a new person with the energy needed to carry a slow game..

    A beautiful day for baseball!

by Tone on 5/17/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

It was almost 90 degrees on Mother’s Day. A 1:35 PM game for the Rainiers. Our seats were in the shade, row 13 in section D. We lost the game, but had a great time. Good variety of food vendors, nice family vibe. Close to the action at the cozy confines of Cheney Stadium.

    Great venue for baseball

by BrianReno on 5/16/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Cheney Stadium, home of the Tacoma Rainiers, is a family friendly ballpark while also catering to the true sports fan. There is not a bad seat in the house. Plenty of excellent food selections. Besides the standard hot dogs, pretzels and peanuts, there are fish and chips, fish tacos, seafood chowder, chicken wings on the bone, and lots more. Good selection of beers and seltzers too. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy parking, only $10 but there is free parking is you can walk a bit. Easy to get to the park via the local bus #2 on South 19th too. The Team Shop has all the Rainiers gear and trinkets you can imagine. The score board is a bit hard to read especially in the afternoon sun and the video screen could be bigger. The Rainiers' mascot Rhubarb the Moose and the sax playing guerrilla are a hit! The announcer was "asleep at the wheel" and either missed the action or was silent when things needed to be explained to the audience. But all-in-all, a good time was had by all.

    Terrible!

by Jessica on 5/15/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

The lower parking lot was fun, and the attendees could “not recommend where to go”. Then the lines to both get IN the stadium AND purchase any concessions was ridiculously long. Extremely unorganized for such a busy day.

    Little Leaguers Ruin the Experience

    by D. C. on 5/13/23

I would avoid visiting when little leaguers go. I just left the stadium be used parents or guardians let their kids run around, yell all kinds of things, throw things across rows, kick the seats, you name it. They will do it. Little leaguers surround you. I would avoid going on these nights. Now if you can afford it and get in time get the lower sections. But little leaguers do ruin the experience if you get normal seats.

    Not the same :(

by GoalMom on 4/25/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

I’ve been going to Rainier games since I was a kid, and now I take my kids. We all love the intimate experience. However, this year the prices are crazy. The food prices, the merch….this used to be where a single mom like myself could take her kids when places like Mariners were just too expensive.

Mobility impaired access poor, game great

by Biller on 4/24/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Friends selected seats in N section. Exit from hwy 16 took 30 minutes to merge, by that time parking lot was full!!! Park on the grass they said. Found spot on street long way off. My wife was limited mobility which was not as bad for drop off, but couldn't get close to 1st base side to pick up. It was a painful walk for her to traverse to main lot. Need bikers to help give rides like they do at Mariners games.

Rainer’s stadium is a quite nice minor league park.

by Anon on 4/11/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Great seats, good food choices, winning team. Cheney Stadium is a good minor league park. (Parking may be difficult for a sold out game but not impossible).

    good game

    by jcon85 on 4/9/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

The game was a double header. It was a fun game. I havent been to a ball game in about 7 years and it was worth it. I really enjoyed the fireworks at the end of the game also. Food was a little pricy but that is to be expected at a ball game.

    Great guest service

    by Tiff8117 on 4/9/23Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

This was my first time and things were extremely easy to navigate. Someone was at the bleachers and immediately offered to help us find our seats and welcome us. We then were able to get a free autograph from one of the players and rhubarb! My kids were overjoyed at the whole experience and I would 10/10 recommend and take them again. Thank you for being so accommodating, friendly and welcoming.

    by Viking58 on 9/28/22Cheney Stadium - Tacoma

Site was a little clunky to navigate. Ultimately it all worked.
