  • Had fun but concert could’ve been better

by Lady on 7/17/23Rating: 3 out of 5

The line up was not as advertised. Chance the Rapper was supposed to be there I had bought these ticket a few months out. On the day of the concert all the original concert posters that stated that Chance was supposed to be there had been removed from social media. I wish there would have been transparency with this. The transitions between artist was bad. There were moments of complete silence on the stage and some artist were obviously late or a no show. Obviously a show with poor planning. I enjoy tpain but the other artists were lacking. However I can respect the fact that they are newer artists and will grow over time. The venue was okay. But poor parking instructions made the night start out rough. It was also a disappointment there there were virtually no seating. I would have paid for seating but the descriptions on the Live Nation site severely lacked in detail on about what was and wasn’t included in the pricing. A detail oriented person who could oversee the “minor” things would have made this event perfect.

  • Solid Show/Unbearable Heat at The Roxy

by ML on 7/17/23Rating: 3 out of 5

Love T-Pain. He’s got hits for days. You can tell he loves what he does. Loved his energy and stage presence though his voice seemed to be a little fatigued. It’s my second time seeing him and I was not disappointed in his set. However, the previous show at the Underground Atlanta a few years back gets the slight edge. Less lighting/technology at that show. But he seemed to play more hits. I must say that T-Pain and his fans deserved better than having to watch his show indoors with no/spotty air conditioning. The Heat in the Roxy was dangerous. I had a seated ticket and arrived just before T-Pain took the stage. I can only imagine how those in General Admission managed to stand up for 3 hours. This is my second show at the Roxy this year (Ari Lennox) with iffy air conditioning. It’s difficult to separate the performance from the venue. But I tried my best.

  • AMAZING

by TShay on 7/17/23Rating: 5 out of 5

First time seeing TPain live and he did not disappoint! Really could have went for another record worth of songs but I get it, lol. Coca Roxy was HOT, I don’t remember it ever being that hit in there, but 10/10, would def see him again!

  • Great Performer!

Very talented and great performer! Hit us with the throwbacks and new covers for an overall fun and great show. Would definitely go to another one of his shows!

If you are questioning buying tickets stop question and just do it. I didn’t buy mine till the day before and I’m so glad I did. He was fantastic and would recommended everyone to go see him.

  • Was a great experience seeing pain

  • Get Ready to Dance Your A** Off

    by B. G. on 7/15/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I’ve seen almost 100 artists live, and this was easily in my top 5. This was my second time seeing T-Pain live (2017 at FireFly and 2023 at DC Anthem) and he is so electric. Everyone in the venue was dancing and having an amazing time. Not to mention the absolute diversity of people that came to see this man perform. He even gave us a break in the middle, which I like to call the “gimme a minute to remind y’all that I still can sing.” 10/10 would definitely go see him again.

Dude can really sing and dance. Plays all the hits. 10/10 awesome show

  • I will be seeing T-Pain wherever he is

by CJK on 7/15/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I went to this concert by myself and it was one of the best experiences of my life. I will see T-Pain whenever he is in town, if he does a Euro tour, I'm there!! Such an amazing show and you can just tell he is a genuine, sweet dude. The energy was immaculate. Wish T-Pain all the happiness and success

  • Least favorite concert ever

by jo on 7/15/23Rating: 2 out of 5

To start, I only bought tickets to see Tobi Lou (he was an opener), so this could also factor into why my experience wasn’t great…but I also HAVE gone to concerts where I came to see one artist and not the other and still had an amazing time..T-Pain had a couple other openers who were signed to his record label and simply put, they weren’t good..also, one of the openers made a homophobic joke which left a bad taste in my mouth T-pain and Tobi Lou were great; I even got to meet TL, and he’s my favorite artist ever so eeep

  • Super great

by LML on 7/14/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Entry into the anthem was really easy. Lines and security check points went by quickly, we got there maybe 45mins after gates opened. Popular merch was sold out in smaller sizes very quickly and there may have been only one merch stand (at least when I went looking for others). Venue was on top of it for security. Tpain was an amazing performer and I feel lucky to have been there that night.

  • I can’t believe he’s still this amazing

    by Ronniee711 on 7/13/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Since T-pain first came out on the scene he has pushed the limits of music and now in 2023 his music still energizes and excites the crowd! He is 100% one of the best performers and his showmanship is unmatched. He genuinely seemed so happy to be there and was extremely appreciative of people coming to see him. He was having such a great time you had no choice but to do the same. His energy is infectious and he truly gave an amazing show. He was so engaged with the crowd and danced right along with us. He even did a few covers of songs that were just as amazing as his own. (Especially his cover of Tennessee Whiskey!!!!) The dance moves, the jokes, the constant engagement and wonderful nostalgia from this tour are extremely worth it. 10/10 worth every penny.

  • It was okay

by The truth 37 on 7/13/23Rating: 3 out of 5

T pain energy is crazy, great performer but I didn’t enjoy his artist.

  • Lit

    by CHAINZ301 on 7/12/23Rating: 5 out of 5

Got there as soon as T Pain came on stage which was cool cuz we ain’t care about none of the other performers (no offense). Teddy came out there and shut it down and reminded us of all the hits and hooks we forgot about. Would def go again if he does

  • Throwback after throwback

by Ekat on 7/12/23Rating: 5 out of 5

T-Pain DELIVERED. The setlist and overall energy was incredible.

  • An amazing T-Pain show @ The Anthem DC

    by Casey B on 7/12/23Rating: 5 out of 5

T-Pain was the best concert I’ve been too since Drake and Lil Wayne. I will definitely be going back. Love the venue and staff!!!

  • Tpain show was a party

by BK on 7/11/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I had a great time at the show. He is a great artist and performer. It was lit. DC loves Tpain. We have a high concentration of millennials and word of mouth spreads fast. We were in that hoe. Sold out show!

  • Great show!

by Brookie on 7/11/23Rating: 5 out of 5

I've been to several concerts and this one was fantastic. Visuals were great, audience was outstanding, sound was clear, T-Pain was engaging. I admit I'm a big fan and regularly listen to music from 2010's era; knew every song but one and had a blast. The concert felt like a club vibe. So glad I saw he was coming and went!!

  • Just Buy The Ticket
