    Too Modern

by Kourtney on 4/9/23Fisher Theatre - Detroit

It was not a bad play but my only problem is that it was too modern. My mom saw this play a long time ago when Stephanie Mills and Teddy pendergrass was in it. She bragged about how good it was. It made me want to see it I’m 25 years old. I get the point and message he was trying to send to the younger generation but some stuff just don’t need to be modernized. For example the young ladies dancing in their revealing clothes was unnecessary. This play should’ve been strictly based on the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Also we talk about how Jesus died but let’s mention how he also rose again .

Perilous Times is a powerful stage production!

    by TTfromTheD on 1/11/23

Perilous Times is more than a production it is a ministry that, gives true meaning to the cliché saying "Write the vision and make it plain". We have been living in Perilous times for decades, we see change year after year in the world yet, we have missed out on seeing truth unveiled and continuing to remind the world that, Jesus walked this earth and saw the things we see in toddy's time just through a different lens.

    Beautiful play!!

by TGNP on 4/13/17Fisher Theatre - Detroit

This play was awesome! My only complaint is that I was seated on the main floor, stage left and there was a speaker system placed on that side that totally blocked this area of the stage. There were several scenes in which you could not see the actors at all. This was very disappointing, but I still enjoyed the play.

by AUZUM on 4/11/17Fisher Theatre - Detroit

I hadn't gotten alot of details about the show before hand so I didn't know what to expect. I thought Perilous Times was amazing. The voices and songs were tremendous. The portrayal of Jesus' life was very well done. The overall theme was very inspiring. I'm sorry it took me so long to see this show.

    Great overall

    by Love4Christ on 4/10/17Fisher Theatre - Detroit

The play was great although all of the walking during the play was disturbing. Once the play starts there should be no seating until intermission.

The overall play was great...it came just in time for Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday. It is a play that everyone should see at least once in their lifetime......it reminded you of things we tend to forget. I would go and see it again!
