SZA has been a game-changer in R&B ever since she became the first female artist to sign to the independent hip-hop label Top Dawg Entertainment, joining the likes of Kendrick Lamar, Jay Rock and ScHoolboy Q. The New Jersey-raised Grammy-winning artist self-released two EPs before partnering with TDE in 2013 to distribute her breakthrough EP Z, which charted on the Billboard 200 and featured the certified-gold single “Child’s Play” with Chance the Rapper. While preparing her highly-anticipated debut album Ctrl, SZA co-wrote songs like the Nicki Minaj-Beyoncé collaborative single “Feeling Myself” as well as “Consideration” from Rihanna’s 2016 album Anti. Ctrl arrived in 2017, debuting at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 behind Top 40 singles like “Love Galore” and “The Weekend” and earning five Grammy nominations. SZA would win her first Grammy as a featured artist on Doja Cat’s 2021 single “Kiss Me More,” and gained further mainstream notoriety following collaborations with Maroon 5, Cardi B and Summer Walker. Her second album SOS debuted at No. 1 in late 2022 and topped the Billboard 200 for 10 non-consecutive weeks. In 2023, SZA earned her first two Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers with SOS’ “Kill Bill” and the Drake collaboration “Slime You Out.”

She blessed the stage with songs from her Ctrl era which gave me nothing but nostalgic feelings from my early 20's. Money worth spent. Also, she is such a sweetheart and down to earth individual. It was sweet to see her interact with fans as well as taking a few minutes after her show was over to invite people to personally meet her. Just great show and every overall. Sza owes NYC nothing !

I went to her first leg of the SOS Tour in Atlanta back in March, and then Nashville for her second leg; and all I can say are good things and noticeable improvements. Her voice is so angelic and soothing (especially live), and her stage presence has gotten so much better from the first time to the second time, her confidence just shows; and her involvement with the crowd is amazing to see. I'm glad she's getting the recognition she deserves! She is so vocally talented and deserves nothing but admiration!! I can't wait for her 'mini' deluxe tour! :)

But wow did she put on a show! The visuals and performance from both her and her dancers was great! She had everyone on their feet the entire night dancing away…. Ps: She is so fine in person 💕
