The game was okay, the Crunch weren't playing to the best of their abilities. The area that I was sitting in sucked though but it was the "fans", if you want to call them that, that made the area suck.
We love going to Crunch games. The venue has a small town feel and AHL hockey is always exciting. .

the game was jam packed with excitement!! the fights and that crazy hit at center ice!! it was the first time i have ever been there and i can't wait to go again!!!

This was my boyfriend's first 'real' hockey game and I was hoping for the usual ambiance that personifies the Crunch games- loud, exciting, high energy, great hockey... and there wasn't much of any of that. The rink is great... well kept, great view, lots of concession choices (awfully small cups of coffee for 2 bucks though), and super helpful/friendly employees. But the crowd and the game play were a real let down. I suggest maybe a weekend night game would be a little better than a Sunday afternoon game like we attended.
John Mirasty was the only bright spot in this game...I miss our players...
I just got into hockey last season. This was my first time going to a different venue other that what I am accustomed to (Lake Erie Monsters @ the Q). Food and beverage prices were much better than what is typically paid in a metropolitan area arena. When purchasing tickets row letters are very misleading. I thought I was getting front row tickets for right behind the glass (you would think row A). However, when I got to my seats it was the middle section not on the glass. Being from out of town, I didn't know this and am not satisfied with the tickets.
My first time at the Syracuse War Memorial for a Crunch game was a wonderful experience. Great sightlines, fans and food selection. Great game as well. I'll be back.
We had a great time. Easy close parking for event w/o paying a fortune, then painless gate passsage without lines and finally an awesome game to end the evening. The kids enjoyed some yummy snacks and the husband enjoyed his fav beer(not many carry his brand)! We had great seats and got to see the Crunch stomp the Devils. Fun had by all!!! We'll be back soon.

The seats were great, had nice view of all the action. Getting in and out as well as parking was easy.
game was interesting. being that it was my first time to attend a syracuse crunch game. they kept the crowd entertained. no matter where your seats were there was excitement. could all action on the ice.
It was good had a fun time with my dad. Everyone that is not busy should check out a game at least once.
The setup of the rink/seating/viewing for the event was the most poorly designed and least thought out event I've ever been to. I would tell no one to go if they hold it again next year.
Any Crunch game is a blast and is always well worth spending the money to go!!
The bathroom situations were a disaster. We had to wait in line over 15 to 20 minutes just to use the provided restrooms. This caused me to miss over a period of hockey in between bathroom breaks. Bottom line i got to watch maybe one full period of hockey.The event was under pre-paired for the amount of people there. Over all the event was well under accommodated and i was very disappointed.
