Loved the evening but felt that Kayaunee was over miked
This event got everyone in the Holiday Spirit! Pablo Mielgo was having so much fun leading the symphony and the outstanding vocals of Kyaunnee Richardson, and the jovial expressions of Scott Flavin made for an amazing evening. We will be back!!!
Hearing and seeing all those talented musicians was very moving . Everyone playing their instruments together with such precision was a treat!
The Symphony is just what one needs to leave the daily tragic news behind for a few hours. The quality of the musicianship is amazing. The venue is wordl-class.
It was a very nice evening. Symphony of the Americas was great, enjoyable and unforgettable! Thank you!
The performance was stirring and exilerating. Very much appreciated. The software to get ticketed is a nightmare. Kept timing out and not responding to input. When reservations were successfully acknowledged I thought the worst was over, however, when checking my wallet the day before the performance, there were indeed 2 tickets paid for. At the theatre, only one showed up. The staff were exceedingly understanding and helpful and had us seated without delay. Undoubtedly the error may have been at my end, but it should not be easy make a $60 mistakee on your cell phone. The other difficulty we ran into was the lack of street level signage between the parking garage and the Amaturo Theater. This was our first visit after dark and both of us are in our mid 80's and somewhat handicapped. Detailed directions minimizing inclines and staircases would be useful if included in the website.
We loved the concert! A concert with Beethoven's 5th should not be missed. The Symphony of the Americas did a great job. And they had a nice little reception afterwards. With several members of the orchestra at the reception, including the conductor, it was a real treat!
One of the most enjoyable concerts that I’ve been to this year. Great program and a very good orchestra .
The conductor was excellent and the orchestra followed him attentively. Standing ovations thru out !!
Event began on time, orchestra and music very good, but program was too short and almost did not justify the 30-minute drive to and from the venue.
He is not as Beethoven... Not my choice ... Great symphony orchestra for very simple music ( same as Chat GPT music. We have leaved the concert at intermission...
Nice venue. Skillful musicians. A very nice way to enjoy the arts in Fort Lauderdale.
Absolutely loved it! BUT….the recoding on cell phones was beyond distracting! Arm the ushers with laser pointers like they do at some Broadway shows!
The John Williams tribute brought back so many memories related to watching movies scored by John Williams. The musicians are amazing.
We loved hearing music from our favorite movies, played so beautifully it was like the movie itself was playing. We brought our two children and we loved that they got exposure to symphonic music through fun movie scores.
Beautifully performed. Full sound often found only in larger orchestras. Exceptional guest pianist. Will definitely attend next season.
The orchestra itself was great; however, we were very disappointed that we weren’t notified that the program was changed from Schuman to Beethoven. Not good for future attendance if we can’t trust your advertising, & thus our ticket purchases.
Maestro's passion for his native country's music was felted by his dynamic performance during this beautiful presentation. It has been such a joy to follow his journey with this orchestra throughout the season. Thank you for the music maestro!!!
Great musicians, great soloist, great reception, great concert hall
