Switchfoot are a Grammy-winning rock band from San Diego, California. Formed in 1996 by brothers Jon and Tim Foreman and drummer Chad Butler, the group released three albums before gaining major label attention following several prominent syncs in the 2002 romantic drama A Walk to Remember. In 2003, Switchfoot released their breakout fourth album The Beautiful Letdown, which went triple-platinum behind the band’s first Hot 100-charting singles “Meant to Live” and “Dare You to Move.” Their 2005 follow-up, Nothing Is Sound, hit a career-peak No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and the band would log another three Top 10 albums with 2011’s Vice Verses, 2014’s Fading West and 2016’s Where the Light Shines Through. Additionally, Switchfoot have earned six No. 1s on the Top Christian Albums chart, and their 2009 effort Hello Hurricane nabbed the band’s first Grammy for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album. In 2023, Switchfoot released The Beautiful Letdown (Our Version), a 20th anniversary re-recording via their self-run independent label, lowercase people records.

Tickets for the Help From My Friends Summer Tour go on sale to the general public on Friday, April 12 at 10:00 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster. Various presales begin in the days leading up to the general onsale, with the artist presale beginning Tuesday, April 9 at 12:00 p.m. local time. The presale for Live Nation customers starts on Wednesday, April 10 at 10:00 a.m. local time, and the Spotify presale begins Thursday, April 11 at 10:00 a.m. local time. My boyfriend and I had an amazing time. The band was amazing and interacted great with the crowd. I will definitely come back to the place for another event and come see the band again.
Switchfoot always puts on an amazing show. Few Rock Stars are as talented and as nice as the guys from Switchfoot.
Switchfoot show was awesome in this venue. Intimate setting is great for this high volume, uplifing band. It is good to hear some new arrangements and new material. The Foremans are almost a genre of one in that they can rock and roll with the heaviest of them yet delve deep into the human condition and the mind of God. Truly awesome in many regards.
I recommend this concert to anyone. They were super interactive with the crowd &passionate about there music. They are inspiring &hold tight to what they believe in. Best show I have seen put on.
I've seen Switchfoot 3 times before this. Each time it was in a larger venue, but the shows were still great. The Culture Room is just a small club, but the band seemed to have upped their energy and overall performance that night. Great show!
They were incredible. They brought so much energy to the concert. The venue was great because there was not a bad seat/standing area in the house and you were close to the stage. I look forward to them coming back.
It was awesome!!! It was my first Switchfoot concert. They did not disappoint. They brought their best songs and performed like rock stars......duh! I did not want the night to end.

Last time I saw Switchfoot it was indoors and the sound was not the greatest. This was outdoors and they sounded outstanding. They played many of their classics, and mixed in new stuff. They had special guests on Chello, Sax and violin, so they could play some of their less popular but great songs. The group is way underrated, and their lyrics will make anyone think about what life is about. Great concert
As in the past, Switchfoot put on a grand show! They are SO interactive with the audience and really appreciate their fans. A great group of kids!
The Switchfoot concert at the Del Mar fairgrounds was great - not as good a show as when they played in Chula Vista - but they sounded great and i'm so excited for the new album!!

One of the best concerts I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of concerts! Not stop music and a great mix of their best songs with a few new ones thrown in.
This is the 3rd of 4th time ive seen Switchfoot in less than a year and I can tell you that there is nothing old and tired about them. They continue to produce songs and shows that entertain and challenge on multiple levels. Jon Foreman is amazing and you don't want to miss him or the gang when they come through.
Wow. John did it again. Switchfoot at del mar fair grounds despite the large crowd felt like a intimate affair. The band has a way to reach out to their fans with music that connects and unites. The band members are from san diego, so any of his shows here are a little extra for the locals. The band knows how to pump up a crowd and get them moving. He jumped in the crowd a few times and belted a few songs from the rafters. I dont want to say too much. I really think you should take a chance and see this band and experience why this band has so much to offer, and is so fun to see! Very good show.
Nothing beats a home town show... worth the 12 hour drive!
Seen this band about 10 times already and each time they are so great! Really down-to-earth and easy to listen to...positive message, great role models. Love these guys!
I've seen a lot of bands in my lifetime and some of them multiple times...Switchfoot is already one of the ones that I've seen multiple times and will continue to..Lord willing.
