Sweet Honey In the Rock Tickets

This was a most exhilarating evening. I was so inspired by not only the singing but also what these women had to say. I love the fact that they are politically involved. It made me realize once again how much happier our entire country seems to be now that we have such an inspiring president. I know these women were instrumental in his winning the presidency. I love to sing and make sounds as if I am a musical instrument in my classroom. I only wish I were twenty years younger and could join them on stage. I am definitely a sweet honey "groupie," and will follow them whenever I can.

I had only heard of Sweet Honey in the Rock a few weeks before I had seen them at the Birchmere; I was moved to tears by their heaven sent voices. They were inspirational and funny, I strongly recommend anyone who appreciates music to see them in concert. The only drawback to the event was no pictures were allowed, I understand that the flashing of many cameras would be a distraction but I would have loved to had pictures of the very talented ladies. Other than that, it was a great experience and the Birchmere was a fun place to eat and enjoy the show.
