Sunday Mornin' Country was an excellent show brimming with talent. From beginning to end it was an enjoyable celebration of country gospel music with many famous entertainers sharing the stage.

    Excellent

by Lplow on 6/12/13Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

This was a wonderful show. Exactly what I expected. I would highly recommend this show. This is not just a show for older folks. We were a mixed bunch 40s, 11y/o, 70 y/o. We all loved it.

    Sunday Mornin' Country ROCKED!!!!

by NashvilleKat on 6/11/13Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

Country entertainers George Hamilton IV, Linda Davis, Charlie McCoy, Lynn Anderson, Roy, Clark, and the Oak Ridge Boys, along with entertainers from the Christian music genre, gave us a FANTASTIC show with great music and the glory given to God!

    What a great day!

by Oregon59 on 6/21/11Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

I loved this event. It really wasn't a concert - it wasn't really a worship service - it was just an afternoon spent celebrating gospel music and the Lord. I enjoyed the celebrity artists as well as the local artists. I would recommend the awards section be shortened.

The show was great! Linda Davis and all the performers were great; especially Charlie McCoy and the other musicans. The sound is amazing in the Opry House.

LOVED this Country Gospel music show!!!!

by NashvilleKat on 6/15/11Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

I attended the Sunday Mornin' Country show last year because I'm a huge Lynn Anderson fan, and she was co-hosting the show. This year, Lynn was a guest, as was former Statler Brother Jimmy Fortune, another favorite of mine. Both of them are the BEST singers, and of course I loved hearing them sing Christian music, as well as the country music they both do so well! In addition, co-hosts George Hamilton IV and Linda Davis were wonderful, as were all the other entertainers, which included Lulu Roman, Marty Rabon, T. Graham Brown, the Fox Brothers, (what a HOOT they are!), and Melanie Walker. GREAT show!!!!!

    Way, Way too long

by TNVol79 on 6/14/11Grand Ole Opry House - Nashville

We went to this in 2010 and enjoyed it. There was a lot of talk at the end, but not too bad considering the value ($20 + fees). This year, the award presentations at the end were way too long. We left after 3 hours and 10 minutes, and missed hearing the 2 artists we were most interested in - Jimmy Fortune and Candi Christmas Hemphill. Not sure if we'd go back.

Lots of performers - each an original. Some with stories and testimonials that added to the inspiring event. Show kept moving and was WONDERFUL!
