Summer: The Donna Summer Musical (NY) Tickets

I bought these tickets as a gift for Christmas for my Dove wife and we truly enjoyed the show. Awesome sweats in the Orchestra section. I just wished the seats were more roomy for a big guy like me, 6'3", 285 lbs., especially if I'm spending that much money for expensive seats, I should at least have some comfy space, especially for my surgically repaired knee which was aching and throbbing with pain. Loved the experience.

Amazing staging and lighting! The music speaks for itself as we travel through Summer-Time. Personal life setbacks (educational) could of had more depth, otherwise AMAZING and fun. Sorry to see it leave Broadway

Brought back memories of my teen years! I was a big Donna Summer fan still am. Sorry it started late but it was worth the wait! Please come back to Broadway aftezr the tour! I will definitely go see it again!

One of the best musicals we have witnessed on Broadway for it sheer exuberance and engagement with the audience. Choreography was superb and the music inspired. Performances by all of the principal cast members was thrilling! And in addition to the great musical pieces, a story of Donna Summer’s life that was presented with poignancy. The only problem is the fact that it’s running time on Broadway comes to an abrupt end today

Is a great show. Enjoyed the music with the story. An had great seats for a small theater. The cast was great too.

Enjoyed the show from beginning to end. All the music reminded me of my youthful years when I danced and sang to her music. A must see

Straightforward and simple storyline, broken up with some smart sequencing, but this songbook is amazing, made even more fun by an almost all-women company (singers and dancers and band) backing up three truly spectacular co-leads sharing the role of Donna Summer. I just find this one-act show to be non-stop fun - I'm still smiling! I'm sad to see it close on Broadway, but happy it will tour and hope it enjoys a successful long future.

I took my mom, my mother in law and sister-in-law to the show as a Christmas present and we had a blast! We enjoyed the narration of Donna’s life, we felt like we got to know the real Donna Summers. The music was great, the singing was incredible and the energy was thru the roof! The ending was like one big party that included the whole audience! We had a blast!!

Show was ok but one of the “donnas” was weaker and had the best songs. Wouldn’t recommend and theatre was a bit dated.

LOVED THE SINGERS/ACTORS AND OF COURSE THE MUSIC WAS EXCELLENT. THE STORY WAS A BIT DISJOINTED AT TIMES FOR ME..WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE SEEN THE BAND ON STAGE AT TIMES..I DIDN'T LIKE THE DOUBLE DUTY OF THE ACTORS..SWITCHING FROM MOTHER TO DONNA SUMMER AND BACK AND FORTH....ANYWAY I WONDERED WHY THE PLAY WAS CLOSING AT THE END OF THE MONTH..I GOT MY ANSWER AFTER SEEING IT.

The show was absolutely amazing, you do not need to be a fan of Donna Summer to enjoy this show. The show is very fast paced since there is no intermission but the suspennse of the scenes makes up for it. The vocals of the three Actresses absoluetly stellar, with at some points their voices had the thater vibrate. Do not let the reviews of the critics hinder you from seeing this show before it closes. This show is a must and I highly reccomend seeing in their tour next september.

My Sister & myself went to this MOST WONDERFUL MUSICAL it Truly was WONDERFUL. The music, performers, & DONNA'S Life Lessons. Everything about it was EXCELLENT.

I thoroughly enjoyed this show. Everything from the music, dancing and high energy performances. The woman who narrated the play was amazing. I highly recommend this show.
