  • Great Show

The cast was so amazing. And the show was fantastic. Such a great history lesson too for everyone.

  • SUFFS WAS WORTH WAITING FOR

by SbankiR on 11/25/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

I have been waiting two years to see this in CA and the wait was totally worth it. The leads are phenomenal. I had not been aware of the back story in getting the right to vote. But this musical history is very enthralling. It is inspirational and uplifting. The audience was on its feet. I had no idea the role Woodrow Wilson played and what the women endured. It has hints of Hamilton too which I really enjoyed. Brilliant. Bring your family and share the experience. I highly recommend SUFFS!

  • Suffs is brilliant

by Dina on 11/25/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Suffs is about the real suffragettes and their fight for the women’s right to vote. It was moving and powerful.

  • Another Hamilton, it is not

by JT on 11/24/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 2 out of 5

While I thought the score was good, the show itself was bleak and depressing. The second half prison scenes were far too long and deeply disturbing. When the amendment finally passed, there should’ve been some energy and celebration. But it fell flat and uninspiring. I also thought that the set design was lacking. Instead of the large blank screen behind the minimal sets, I thought it would’ve been interesting to see actual photos from the events depicted. Overall, what should have been uplifting was merely a reminder that the tyranny of our government is as blatant today as it was then. I am sorry to say that I could not recommend this show.

  • Inspiring trip through female voting rights history!

by Roxanne on 11/24/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

SUFFS should be required viewing for everyone! In an entertaining way, the audience learns the sacrifices made to secure voting rights for women in the US. The songs are well-written, and the performers are top notch. Bring your girlfriends, sisters, daughters and granddaughters for a great night out.

  • Outstanding

by Angie on 11/23/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

An outstanding performance by a talented ensemble of women. They presented this historical subject matter about the women’s suffrage movement in a heartfelt manner that makes you laugh, cry and at the end of the play march (in solidarity to protect women’s rights). The actresses playing President Woodrow Wilson (JENNY ASHMAN) and his Chief of Staff Dudley (BRANDI PORTER) were absolutely delightful in these male roles. A great creative twist to cast women for these parts I thoroughly enjoyed this play!!

  • Best Musical Ever

by GAB on 11/23/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

Phenomenal cast from the ensemble to the leads. The story, choreography and staging work in tandem to tell the remarkable story of how women moved mountains to get the right to vote. Far from a dry history lesson, these songs will have you rising to your feet, and the struggles and triumphs will make you laugh and cry. At the heart are the incredible women whose stories - sadly - aren’t a thing of the past. See this show and be moved to be in community and give voice to those who may not have one.

  • Inspiring Musical

by Suzanne on 11/22/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This incredible cast, along with stirring songs, tell the powerful story of how women fought long for the right to vote. How far have we come since then? Not far, which is why Suffs is so timely and relevant. Bring your loved ones and people who give your life purpose to see one of the best musicals you’ll ever see. Be inspired by this call to action and how the bonds of friendship can make a difference.

  • Best musical I’ve seen in a long time!

by Gail on 11/21/25Hollywood Pantages Theatre - Los AngelesRating: 5 out of 5

This show blew me away. The talent of these women was over the top. Every one in the cast could be a lead. Incredible voices, beautiful harmonies, precise choreo/movements down to every hand gesture & an incredible story of strong, determined women on a mission. I also loved the fact that all male characters were played by women.

  • Suffs on Tour was a Real Delight!

by Ammy on 10/26/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

Having taught about the 19th Amendment for 19 years to eighth graders in Phoenix, Arizona, I was familiar with the substance of the musical but I had no idea how great the musical score would be! I totally enjoyed listening to the musical selections for the first time and hearing the wonderful voices perform them. Not a less than stellar voice in the entire cast! Thanks for a wonderful evening!

  • Fantastic!

by CLO on 10/22/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

This show was great! It was funny, powerful, and inspiring! I took my teenage daughter who loved it. It was a good lesson about how far we have come as women and how hard it was to get here. She understands the importance of maintaining our rights as women and especially women of color. Equity is so important.

  • Love matinees

by Rose on 10/22/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 4 out of 5

It was charming. The venue is small and pleasant. The pre-order drink is nice for halfway through.

  • Phenomenal show

    by Kristi G on 10/21/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

I had never heard of this show before a friend invited me. What a wonderful show! The story is wonderful. The cast was amazing! They ALL had great voices and all the voices worked well with each other. I think the is the most underrated show. There needs to be more hype around just how great this show is! Highly recommend!

  • Even better than I expected!

by Greywire on 10/21/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

I had high hopes going in to the performance as I had played the score a number of times, know a bit (or so I thought) about suffrage and was excited when the show won the Tony but it was SO much better. The music is incredible and really drives the performance forward - there wasn't a moment where the story was dragging. The gorgeous harmonies and tight choreography just added to the enjoyment. If you have a chance to see this tour - GO!

  • outstanding

  • As Good As Broadway

by Joan on 10/21/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Suffs on Broadway last year. It was fabulous and I wanted to see it again. The ASU Gammage show was as good except I saw it with Shaina Taub as the lead. Having her voice welcome us to the AZ show was a nice touch. Seeing it after attending No Kings Day on Oct 18 was apropos. One note: on Broadway they did an encore of “Keep Marching.” Everyone stayed, sang, and left in tears.

  • Loved it!!! So empowering!

by Dawn on 10/20/25ASU Gammage - TempeRating: 5 out of 5

Such a smart, inspiring show! Feels apropos to current political climate. Excellent sound track too. I already plan to see it again!

  • Excellent show

by Kathy B on 10/10/25San Diego Civic Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

I was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed this play!! The acting was superior and the music fabulous. I sat in front of the ASL Signers and they both were so taken with the play that they were crying along with all of us!! This exceeded my expectations!! I only wish I had seen it at the beginning of the run instead of the end so I could have recommended it to all my friends!!

  • Moved to Tears

  • Bring all your girlfriends!

by SDMusicalsFan on 10/7/25San Diego Civic Theatre - San DiegoRating: 5 out of 5

Fabulous show with great songs and pretty good historical accuracy, tackling many worthy and timeless themes surrounding womanhood. Felt so many of the ideas in my soul. Made me want to stand up and cheer so many times. My husband liked it, but my girlfriends would have cheered alongside me.
