Great tribute to the Beatles, from the Ed Sullivan TV show to the rooftop in London.

Not Beatlemania, but an incredible simulation

by LJSLJS on 10/4/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

First, overall it's a good deal and some fun. The brunch is good, not great, the venue is pretty cool and the location is excellent. The guys are the same band that did Beatlemania 20-something years ago. Yes, that means they look pretty old and, frankly, kind of ridiculous, especially in those young Beatles outfits. None of their faces look like the Beatles' anymore. But they do a decent job of sounding like the Fab4. They're well-polished and seem to work hard. It's a tourist crowd of course. I came in from the suburbs with my wife and 7 year old. Our main complaint is that it's too loud for this kind of crowd. It was very loud. This is not Who tribute band, it's the Beatles in a fairly small club with old people and little kids in the audience. We ended up moving to the back row where it was more tolerable.

    Food was surprisingly good

by chrisandalyss on 9/21/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

Band was good, impossible to pick up all Beatle songs in short time, but they were very effective in conveying the general feel of the stages of Beatle music. Food was really good. Catfish, mac and cheese, buffalo wings, caesar salad too mention a few of the favorites of the group I was in, were good. We weren't expecting such it to be as good, and were happy that it was.

Strawberry Fields - A Great Tribute to the Beatles

by GNAT69 on 8/18/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

I really liked this performance at B.B. Kings. The overall setting for this event was perfect. I never experienced the Beatles live, but this band made me feel like I was transported back to the 1960's. In the future, I plan to take other family members to the brunch session so they can enjoy the same experience I had.

    Great show. Crowded Room

by Clipse on 8/16/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

If you don't mind being a part of a 6 party crowed at a table that's made to seat 4 then this is for you, Great cover band, nice view of the stage, just wish the room wasn't so crowed. I was at the end of the table and people kept stepping on my foot whenever they walked by

    Strawberry Fields

by Mittons on 8/3/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

We took our two kids, 15 & 12, to the show. The music was very good and the members of Strawberry Fields are great musicians. They played a very good variety of Beatles songs and played them very well. Our 12 year old son is very into the Beatles and enjoyed the show. Our 15 year old daughter was not as enthusiastic and it may have been because the musicians are bit older. The venue was comfortable and small enough to make the show intimate. The only negative was that our feet stuck to the carpeted floor and you could smell stale beer in the air.

A wonderful treat for a Beatles fan!

by GCGhost on 7/17/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

I took my friend for her birthday and she loved it! The band was spot on musically and they played a great selection of songs from the span of The Beatles entire career. They also had great interaction with the crowd. It's definitely a fun time of eating, drinking and dancing.

    Very Enjoyable

by RockandRollNut on 7/16/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

No, Strawberry Fields is not the Beatles. And the good news is, they no longer pretend to be, as they did back in their Beatlemania days. Yes, they dress up like the Beatles, and they imitate some of the mannerisms of the Beatles. But it's not slavish imitation. It's more tongue in cheek, which is fitting for the Beatles. That said, they do an excellent job playing the music. For $40, you get great music, good food, dessert, coffee, tea and juice. Tip is included. I've seen Stawberry Fields twice and I'm sure I'll see them again.

    strawberry fields

by annie268 on 7/16/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

the show was great. The band did an excellent job and the singers were terrific. It was truly enjoyable and the atmosphere was great. The food was good and there was more than enough to go around. The only thing wrong was that you could not smoke during the show, but that has nothing to do with the caliber of the show or the venue. It was great show, one I would go to again......................

    Strawberry Fields is amazing

by eddybear on 7/12/09B.B. King Blues Club and Grill - New York

Unbeliveable you can close your eyes and go back in time. I have never heard a tribute band sound exactly like the orginals.
