  • Storm hits Columbus !!

by Actordirect on 10/28/18Lincoln Theatre - COLUMBUSRating: 4 out of 5

We saw her in Cincinnati on Friday at Memorial Hall and knew we had to drive up to Columbus to see her again. Rocks the theater like no other, such a great tour of small unique venues. Such a fabulous entertainer, more than just a chanteuse with an attitude, this lady rocks it out with a band that knows how to play to her strengths. Sounds better LIVE , even though new CD kicks ass! Buy one now or get it after the show. Great storyteller and so real it makes some people in the crowd blush, the rest of us just howl along with her. Get tickets to her next show, before they sell out. Storm is abrewing! See you in Louisville!

  • An event to remember!!

by GeorgeKesh on 6/29/17Fred Kavli Theatre-Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza - Thousand OaksRating: 5 out of 5

First time at this Civic Arts plaza in Thousand Oaks. The place is wonderful and seating is great. there is no bad sit in the house and chairs and leg room is comfortable. Johnny Boyd was good but Storm large was exceptional. We've seen her before a couple of times with the Pink Martini but this shows was different. She is an unbelievable performer and was on the stage for a long time without any brakes. Had lots of fun but you have to know of her in order to truly enjoy her show. We will see her again if we have the opportunity.

  • It's Storm Large...You know it's gonna be awesome.

Storm Large is amazing. I've never seen a show that was anything less than incredible. Her theatrics and edgy humor take her shows to another level of awesome.

Came to see Johnny but loved Storm too. Both great singers with excellent musicians. The venue has good acoustics too.

  • "STORM". hits Norfolk

Sexy, funny, with an amazing voice. She is a one of a kind entertainer that I will see every time she comes around

  • Storm Large was AMAZING

by tedington on 3/27/15Mercury Ballroom - LouisvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Storm gave Louisville a show for the ages. The sultry vixen satisfied her eclectic audience with a wide range of talent. Covering Cole Porter, Olivia Newton John, the Rolling Stones and still presenting us with her original works, she has a style to please everyone. She may have cleaned up her act and "grown up" but her inner Rockstar still exists and no performer works a crowd into a frenzy like Storm Large. The Mercury Ballroom is the PERFECT intimate venue for a show of this nature

  • Taken by Storm

by NCDeb on 11/11/14Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Storm Large is a must-see! Whether she is performing with Pink Martini or doing her own show, she is one of the most dynamic and entertaining performers I've even seen. Her wonderful voice is present on her CDs, but you need to see the show for the full Storm experience.

  • If only I could give MORE stars...!

Wow--Storm Large and her entourage were absolutely incredible! Amazingly talented, incredible vocal range and style range. Hilarious. Excellent interaction with audience.

  • Storm Large is an ENTERTAINER

    by Fiberguy51 on 11/1/14Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

I saw Pink Martini several times with China Forbes. When Storm Large came on board as a "relief" singer I didn't know what to expect - but was immediately hooked by her stunning stage presence and extraordinary voice. I figured that Storm as a solo act might be a bit more "edgy" and was she ever! Taking Grandma to see that "nice girl who sings with the symphony sometimes" would be a mistake! She was in top form, both in establishing rapport with the audience and in presenting a wide range of songs from Cole Porter to her signature "8 miles". The band was tight and provided a nice sonic canvas on which Storm could paint. If you missed this show - kick yourself.

  • Taking Durham by Storm!

    by TMF53 on 11/1/14Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

Like the weather event, Storm is a force of nature. The perfect combination of hard rocker and cabaret artist, Storm performed both original material and classics from the Great American Songbook.

  • Puts on a hell-of-a show!

by BladeCanyon on 11/1/14Carolina Theatre - DurhamRating: 5 out of 5

I had no idea what to expect, having seen Storm only as the lead singer for Pink Martini last year. Be warned: she's raunchy, but hilarious. This show is 1/4 stand-up comedy, 3/4 singing. Musically, the show is fantastic. Her voice is beautiful and the band is tight and talented. The music spans the genres, from Cole Porter to Pixies, from Bad Brains to Olivia Newton John, but Storm puts her own unique and enjoyable spin on all of them.

  • Simply Amazing

by JustNYC on 2/10/14Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen Storm Large perform all over New York a dozen times and have been wowed every time; but this event was unforgettable. Give Storm a big stage in a beautiful old theatre and she'll inhabit every inch of it with her voice, her presence, and her sheer love for music. She is simply the best live performer around, and rivals the greats- past and present. From the first moment to the last, she's got you- with her vocals, performance and sheer transformative power to act out a song.

  • Angel and Devil embodied in one woman!

    by Jupiter13 on 5/13/13Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 4 out of 5

The voice of an angel and the mind of a devil, Storm sang her heart out for the hometown crowd. Very disappointing attendance but that did not daunt this Ambler native. We've seen her before with Pink Martini, and bought tickets to see her with her own band seven months in advance as a result. Her band was terrific and we enjoyed her (sometimes campy) show immensely.

  • Storm is one hell of a Performer !!!!

by DanjMi on 5/13/13Keswick Theatre - GlensideRating: 5 out of 5

Great Voice ! Great Facial Expressions ! Sexy ! Great interaction with the audience ! Funny ! Hope she returns to Philly area.

  • An Inspiration

by Hunnibee on 11/25/12Joe'sPub - NewYork CityRating: 5 out of 5

I have had the luck of seeing Storm perform in an intimate club setting, twice. It was the same night...one show was truely not enough. Her passion, coupled with her incredible ability is unsurpassed. I never tire of listening to her voice. She inspires me to sing along, and reach for the stars no matter what the obstacle! My friends and I will love her to the end :)

  • by Anonymous on 6/17/12Aladdin Theater - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

She is absolutely totally amazing - the best entertainer I have ever seen and I have seen some of the best and most famous!

  • Storm Large is truly great!

by HobbyTMP on 6/17/12Aladdin Theater - PortlandRating: 5 out of 5

I am almost 72, and after a careful review, I feel that Storm's concert is one of the two best concert experiences of my life! Not only was I entranced by the many nuances of her voice, but her body movements and facial expressions, and ability to communicate with her audience is truly unique. Several days later, her performance is still very much with me, and will remain a treasured memory forever. My wife also agrees with this assessment, and we look forward to having another opportunity to see and hear this truly wondrous talent. Our hope is that Storm can feel the love coming from her devoted fans in exact proportion to the amount she gifts with her performance.
