Overall it was a good show. However, many of the beats became repetitive, just using different objects. After about an hour, it got kinda long, we were ready to go. i saw the original Stomp in NYC many many years ago, and the original is a vey high energy and acrobatic show, this was not that. This was more just making beats out of anything. Still, it was enjoyable,
Absolutely the most surprising, delightful, creative, playful and fun and energetic show. Go see it!! It will remind you how to simply Play, and allow yourself to be creative with the simplest things~ run don’t walk to experience this show!
Took our family to Stomp as a holiday gift this year - teenagers and adults. Everyone loved it. It was extremely entertaining and fun. Would recommend it to everyone.
Can't believe how much we laughed during this performance. The actors/ dancers were incredibly talented and energetic. Loved the hilarious audience participation routines. The comedic "stories "were told without words, just facial expressions and movement. What a perfect show for families. We took our children when it first came out and now our grandson. It certainly kept his attention. Not to be missed the next time it comes around to our area.
I would have enjoyed this show a lot more if it was an hour, 90 min max. After the first few scenes it felt repetitive. And then the last scene with the garbage cans was uncomfortably loud. So loud my noise app notification on my Apple Watch went off 3 times and several people in the section closest to the stage got up and left. If there was a noise warning in the show overview before you buy tickets, I never saw it, but if I had brought young children there, I would have been really upset by the volume.
The creativity was simply amazing! It is just incredible to watch.
So much time and effort went into this performance!! My nephew and I had a hard time identifying our favorite piece. He loved the suitcases, and I was blown away by the energy and precision of the iconic Dance of the Trash Cans :D What a fabulous way to spend an afternoon!
We loved absolutely everything about this show. We were enthralled from start to finish. See it if you can!
Seeing STOMP live has been on my bucket list for years. Experiencing this show live was even more than I hoped for. It was INCREDIBLE! I was so moved I cried. 🙃 Loved the humor sprinkled throughout. The beats were amazing and I absolutely could not sit still at all the entire show. Very talented performers who obviously put in a lot of work. Well done! I highly recommend STOMP!
This was an excellent show in chicago. We really enjoyed our evening, the cast was superb.
Such an amazing show. All the cast members gave 150%, especially the lead! I was mesmerized the entire show.
I didn't really know what to expect but I was blown away! The non-stop energy from the performers was incredible. I didn't expect to laugh either but we laughed through the whole performance. Don't hesitate to buy your ticket!

We got there about 15 minutes before the show started and the doors weren’t open yet. The venue is so comparable to a high school theater and so is the crowd. Three ladies behind us were plastered and tried to take our seats. And then this family came in next to us and they were spread out among three rows. Their dad was also hammered. The girl next to me was narrating the whole show to me like “Ooh that mop is dirty” and “that guy is so me” for the ENTIRE SHOW. And the mom was in a row behind them by herself until she came up and sat on the floor to smother her husband and talk to everyone the whole time. Not to mention phone use?? The usher on the other side was taking his job TOO SERIOUSLY and running up and down the stairs the whole show yelling at people about their phones, which was so distracting. But our usher didn’t do anything so we had a ton of phones out the whole time. Our section also just kept talking because we were further back so they could get away with it. But the venue seems like it would attract a kind of weirder crowd, idk how to explain it. It was very laxed, not a night out at the theater during the holidays you’d be expecting. And definitely not worth the ticket price. Stomp itself was like a 3.5/5. A little underwhelming, they dropped a few props that I thought might have been purposeful but it wasn’t. Stay away from Broadway Playhouse though unless you’re looking for a very high school-esque atmosphere.
Hi, I am not sure what I was thinking and expecting, but this show was a total waste of time and money. Couldn't wait till it was over as I didn't get the point of all this noise.
I took my 15year old shoulder shrugging grandson. He basically reacts to nothing. He did to this! He was clapping, laughing and having a great time. Performance was fantastic, the performers were amazing. Worth every penny
We say it years ago, and have been waiting for its return. It did not disappoint.
There is talent there for sure. I wish there was more drumming with sticks. Some of the pieces were too repetitive and got old. I was kinda disappointed-expected more
Stomp is amazing! This was my fourth time seeing the performance - twice in Chicago and twice in New York - including the first year they opened at The Orpheum Theater in 1994. The show is so uplifting and full of life and positive energy - EVERYBODY should see this show.
We sat in the 4th row center and had a great time. Stomp is high energy and a great show. We loved the humor and the talent was off the charts. Family friendly. Easy to get in and out after the show. Go see Stomp!
