As always very good show will be back again next year!
What a great show and an amazing experience. I was blown away at the music and all of the performers. One of the best shows I have seen and would rank it up there with El Monstero which is saying a lot.
Incredible as always and looking forward to SRV 2014!
Awesome, look forward to the boys every year, the price is great and the performance is over the top
the srv tributs is one of the best you will ever see with three of st louis giutar power houses jimmy lee kenett steve pacaro and tony campanela the sond is always good the next best thing to the legendary stevey ray vaughan
This was my second year in a row to see this concert and I'll be back next year, for sure. If you like to see guitar talent , this is your don't miss show!!
Had good seats in the balcony. Everyone was great. The show was really good and full of awesome guitar playing.
This was our 4th year and still Love it, gets better every year looking forward to next year already.
good place good times good friends good band .fantastic...
If you love the music of Stevie Ray Vaughn and the music that influenced him, this annual show is a must see! Some of the best bluesmen the world over perform Stevie Ray's music in the intimate setting of The Pageant. One of St. Louis' best kept secrets!
It was a great show, with alot of special guests which made the show awesome....seems the Pageant is wishie washie on their rules and policies, last year I took my daughter (17 then) and she was able to sit with us wherever we wanted, however this year seems the Pageant wanted to enforce policy...so we had to sit in the under 21 area...on the way in I didn't get searched or ID'ed, however my wife got the TSA work over, and when they searched her purse, she had Advil in her purse, and they threw it away on her....now she is 47 years old, typical mom/grandma....wtf..are they thinking, we did not experience this last year...now I am 46 years old, long hair hippie looking guy and I don't get checked out at all?? Also on the raffle a friend of mine had one of the winning numbers, when he went to claim it, they said they already had a winner!!!....now how does that happen??? The show was great, the Pageant this year really sucked as far as I am concerned....The SRV event has been in my experience more of a family event , all ages....I guess this year they treated it as a punk rock gothic dope druggie event when it came to policy enforcement.....
Very well done, did not have a bad moment. Would like to see the act again next year.
If i had one comment that summed upthe night, it would be that some times less is more. This was my first SRV tribute and I left feeling like it was more a tribute to the guys on stage - especially Mr. Campanella. Stevie played the BLUES!!!! Granted, it was hot rodded Texas blues, but after about the 6th million note guitar solo that seemed to go on forever, i tuned out. I certainly didn't hope or expect to hear note for note guitar karaoke of Stevie's music, and a little self indulgence is to be expected, but too often the spirit of SRV's music got lost in a flurry of notes and guys playing over the top of each other. Next year, stay off the Red Bull, leave the effects board at home, plug in and play the damn blues!!!!!
As this was my first SRV Tribute attendance, I very much enjoyed the show along with all others in attendance! I would definitely recommend this to everyone that I know that are SRV fans and others that enjoy this music. It's great that St Louis has so many outstanding talented musicians. I was especially surprised by the display of talent of young Aaron Griffin. Can't wait for the 2011 concert!!!
This was our 3rd year to go and it has becaome a tradition, got hooked from the first time and plan to attend every year. Great show!!!!!!!!!! Guest appearances are always awesome too.
Never been to the Pageant, but is was an awesome place to watch the concert. All the bands were amazing, and at times you would have thought SRV was up there playing. I would go back in a heartbeat.
