Stevie Nicks Concert Schedule and Tour

Best known as the mysterious and mystical powerhouse lead voice of Fleetwood Mac, Stevie Nicks is just as much the entrancing chanteuse as a solo songstress. Her latest album, "In Your Dreams," was released in 2011. Her singular sartorial style, featuring long robes, lace, scarves and wild hair, is as iconic as her sound, and that, coupled with long-held rumors of her Wiccan interests, helped create a remarkably haunting stage presence. Though she tours infrequently and creates new work rarely, she remains one of the most inspirational women in rock, with bands like the Dixie Chicks and Destiny’s Child and artists Mary J. Blige and Florence Welch idolizing her inimitable style.

Nicks began her career early, singing at small concerts with her grandfather as a young child before meeting her future partner, band mate and lover Lindsey Buckingham, in high school. Together they joined Fleetwood Mac members Mick Fleetwood, John McVie and Christine McVie, where she penned classic hits “Rhiannon” and “Landslide” for their first album, resulting in immediate global acclaim and innumerable follow-up covers by fellow musicians. The tumultuous band life resulted in drug addiction, divorces and ultimately, a breakup, though they reunited in 1997, the same year the band was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Despite ailing health, Nicks produced several albums, both with Fleetwood Mac and solo, including "Bella Donna," her first solo effort released in 1981. This album showcased the musical gems “Edge of Seventeen” and “Leather and Lace.” Her other lone efforts include "The Wild Heart," "Rock a Little," "The Other Side of the Mirror," "Street Angel" and "Trouble in Shangri-La" before releasing "In Your Dreams."

Fans can’t buy tickets to her latest tour with Fleetwood Mac, as John McVie’s health issues have paused the show, but they can see this Gold Dust Woman performing as a witch on FX’s "American Horror Story: Coven" in her acting debut.

by LittleJag on 8/6/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

This was the first time ever seeing her live! Being a long time fan of her music, I was not dissappointed! I loved that she just sang and was witty without being political. I would love to see her again :)

This venue was spectacular. Ms. Nicks was the most gracious hostess I have ever had the priviledge of watching perform. Her generosity and kindness (I have never seen a performer go from one end of the stage to the other signing autographs and shaking hands) is admirable. Thank you for a great birthday experience.

    Ms. Nicks was stunning!

by MUZICFAN4LIFE on 8/6/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

Stevie Nicks wowed the crowd with a voice that has only gotten better over the years. She truly is one of a kind. She played all of her hits and a one or two from Fleetwood Mac. She had a very easygoing stage presence and really made the concert feel intimate. It was a night to remember.

    Nicks Rocks Again!

by calibukathy on 8/6/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

Stevie Nicks at the Santa Barbara Bowl was great. Beautiful summer evening weather, beautiful venue and beautiful singer. Stevie is not doing a full-blown tour, rather just a handful of dates, so the show was not as polished as I am used to seeing from her. In fact, she admitted that doing these shows was her manager's idea, not hers. Yet, for a true Stevie fan (and there were plenty in attendance) it was a magical evening.

Stevie Nicks was as good as ever!

by lifelover on 8/6/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

Stevie Nicks really sold it! Her voice was like golddust, as pure as when she first started out, she still has the great mystical outfits, great shawls, scarves, same golden hair, great band members, and very grateful to her fans.

Santa Barbara Bowl Sound Mixing Was Hard On Ears

by tangosteve on 8/6/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

Too loud for the normal human ears. I was sitting way in the back and it still sounded too loud and distorted. I feel sorry for the fans on the floor. Since Stevie is my favorite I'm still recommending this to friends, but Santa Barbara Bowl gets a thumbs down. They also cut the concerts off at 10 PM because of the city curfew and the fact that it's located in a residential area. Bummer!!

    Stevie rocks the SB Bowl!

by Robilino on 8/5/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

Stevie Nicks and company rocked the Santa Barbara Bowl last night for a sold-out crowd that were on their feet for most of the night. She preformed all her hits that have stood the test of time. The Bowl was energized by her performance and her voice still sounded good. The band was just incredible and sounded so good. The summer night was just perfect and the crowd was lively and were entertained by all her hit songs. It was an emotional night for her and on one song that she hadn't performed in years almost brought her to tears. She ended the set with a song by Led Zepplin which brought down the house. She was still able to hit the high notes with her magical voice and still is one of the best perfumers of our time. Lindsey Buckingham failed to show although there were reports he might show up. Great concert-thanks Stevie, you still rock!

    Band rocks

by eardrums on 8/5/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

Stevie was, as usually right on the mark, playing oldies, plus Zep song and a Petty song. Waddy Wachtell rocked, as the drum/percussion soloists.

    the Queen Rocked

by bertiechi on 8/5/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

Stevie Nicks is still the Queen of Rock & Roll. She was amazing! She made a joke about being a senior citizen and the audience roared!! I was lucky to be on the front line, every song brought back memories. So far I've been lucky to attend a dozen of her performances and they just keep getting better.

    Better with time!!!

by wisewitch1 on 8/5/10Santa Barbara Bowl - Santa Barbara

Interesting choice of venue here. Intimate, cozy. Perfect place for concert. Loved that stevie included some other songs from trouble in shangri la and Bella Donna. Don't want to spoil anything, just in case. Nice to see that there were young as well as her loyal fans there singing along and enjoying some of her choice cuts. If I had one complaint, parking sucks here. If you are not here early, be prepared to park up to 1/2 mile away. I missed her opening act because of this. Fortunately a resident right across the street rented me her space for $20. There are still good samaritians out there..
