This was my first time at this venue. I was there for NEEDTOBREATHE and I thought everything else was just going to be meh. I was wrong. All the artists were great and I found myself tearing up several times. The fact that I was there with my sister (recently reunited) made the evening that much more special.

by JulieJames on 3/5/15Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Awesome Evening!!! Such an unforgettable night with laughs, smiles, tears and the most amazing musicians and songwriters ever. I think Steven Curtis Chapman is the perfect Host for the evening and love how Show Hope is on site for others to learn about this incredible Ministry. Love Sam's Place and the story behind this event!

Loved this venue and music series. Definitely do again!

  • Sam's Place with needtobreathe was great!

by HeyYoMa on 3/4/15Ryman Auditorium - NashvilleRating: 5 out of 5

We enjoyed the entire line up. Starting with Stephen Curtis Chapman the tone of the show was upbeat, a happy show. Amy Grant followed with a few of her hits, followed by a new guy that I enjoyed but don't remember his name. Laura Story sang a couple of her hits--wow, what a voice and talent! After a short break we were entertained by the Christian group The Isaacs, whose harmonies were beautiful. Needtobreathe completed the lineup and were fantastic. Several bands rejoined the stage for a couple of final hymns. A very good show.

  • Third Day was great Steven Curtis Chapman was not.

by GlennDio on 12/29/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 3 out of 5

third day was great. enough said about them always worth the money. Steven Curtis Chapman was awful, not his singing but his never ending talking between songs ... not just a minute or two but 20 minutes at a clip!... he has many many songs in his repertoire and I think he played a total of 6 (SIX!!!) songs in 2 sets.... he spent a 30 minute block talking about his charity ... this was not a $10 holiday concert ticket that I wouldn't have minded the charity talk ...these were expensive concert tickets and a concert should mean he plays music more than he talks. very very disappointing

  • Third Day was impressive

    by DavidH52 on 12/28/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

I enjoyed Brian Heath and Stephen Curtis Chapman was great too. My favorite was Third Day though. A lot of energy came from the bands, the music was memorable and the atmosphere was inspiring.

  • Great Show

by amrann on 12/26/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

Great show, great artists (Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, Brandon Heath and Jillian Edwards). Which there was a little more of a mix of non-Christmas with the Christmas, but great show still!

:-) The concert was awesome...a wonderful experience. For two years now I have went to see Casting Crowns perform at this holiday show and it was so great to see them before Christmas definitely a bonus to the holiday season. My two favorite performers are Third Day and Casting Crowns. So, I enjoyed Steven Curtis Chapman definitely but if it wasn't for Third Day I wouldn't have paid $75 plus taxes to see the concert. My only regret was that Third Day didn't play as long as I would have liked for them to. :-( Other than that, the performance was most enjoyable and I would purchase the tickets again next year.

  • Christmas Spirit

by daninsc on 12/25/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

Great way to get into the Christmas Sprit. Quality of music and presentation first rate. Diversity of music was appropriate (some Christmas and some Spiritual). A little too much time on the Adoption aspect (paid to here a concert - not for an appeal). Layout of the vendor tables poor, congested, and under staffed.

  • Steven Curtis Chapman Night of Joy

by MaryfromTampa on 12/25/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 1 out of 5

I was extremely DISAPPOINTED in this show. There were not enough Christmas songs especially since the show was promoted as the best Christmas concert around. We ended up leaving before it actually ended because we were so disappointed. I was so sad because I had really expected more traditional Christmas music

  • by Anonymous on 12/25/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 1 out of 5

the sound technicians were terrible, the drums were so loud they overpowered the vocals and guitars. there were too many infomercials in the middle of the concert.

  • Best Christmas Concert Ever!

by Anonymous on 12/23/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Steven Curtis Chapman, Third Day, and Brandon Heath were excellent! 3 1/2 hours was not long enough! Thank you for such a fantastic evening!

We had our grandchildren with us. They loved it. our seats were excellent, good view. We thoroughly enjoyed the evening

  • Were the speakers blown?

by Anonymous on 12/23/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 1 out of 5

Sorry to say we were totally disappointed. The sound system was so bad we couldn't even recognize the songs being played. Love Joy FM but will never buy tickets again, Wanted this to be a beautiful Christmas concert to share with my daughter and her new husband but it will be remembered as the concert that resembles the ugly Christmas sweater.

  • Steven Curtis Chapman & Third Day

by batplant on 12/23/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent artist. I have listened to them for years on the radio. Their funny, good showmen. the live show was as good or better than heard on radio. Family friendly!

  • Praise and Worship

    by kwas1 on 12/23/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 5 out of 5

A lot of Christmas songs, sing along. Was a powerful praise and worship concert. Unforgettable experience, all ages attended. It was great to watch everyone praising our Savior. At the end people lit the flashlight on their phones and it look like stars in the sky . While we sang "Away in the Manger".

  • ABSOLUTE ON THE NOSE!

by SCCBH on 12/23/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 4 out of 5

Crowd was fantastic; security too tight, music and performers very good but very personable.

  • SCC Talks too much

by FirstCC on 12/23/14USF Sun Dome - TampaRating: 2 out of 5

Third day was great as was Brad Heath. Stephen Curtis Chapman talks too much and doesn't play enough music. Really did not appreciate the 20 minute infomercial for ShowHope, however got a belly laugh out of his comment about the Chinese Government "opening their hearts"

  • SCC and Third Day eas great along with all the res
