Comedian Steve Treviño is "America's Favorite Husband." He can "speak wife fluently," he never calls "the guys" for help on a home project, and he knows better than to "make his own decisions," since decision-making is a privilege reserved solely for his wife, Renae.
His relatable approach affirms his status as one of the country's premiere stand-up comedians, viewed over 300 million times, selling-out shows across the nation, and amassing over 3.4 million total social media followers.
Today, the comedian has had stand-up specials with Amazon, NETFLIX, Showtime to name few. His first Showtime special, Grandpa Joe's Son, staked out a spot in the Nielsen Top 20 when it first premiered. From the success of that special, he funded, produced, and shot his 2014 NETFLIX hit Relatable. To promote the special, he uploaded a clip titled "When Your Wife Comes Home From Shopping." It exploded, generating over 56 million views on Facebook alone and paving the way for his other viral clips like "When You Ask Your Wife If She Wants McDonald's" (21 million views). In 2018, Trevino released the follow-up special, Steve Trevino 'Til Death on Amazon. In 2022, he once again self-produced his fifth special, I Speak Wife that released on YouTube garnering over 4 million views. Steve recently filmed his highly anticipated sixth special at The Tobin Center in San Antonio, which was directed by Renae Treviño. The special will premiere on Netflix in early 2024.
In honor of Treviño's achievements in entertainment and comedy, the city of San Antonio presented the comedian with their prestige Emissary of the Muses certificate on November 24th, 2023.
In 2020, he and his wife, Renae, unveiled a joint weekly podcast entitled "Steve Treviño and Captain Evil." On the podcast, the couple navigate the treacherous topics of relationships, family and stand-up comedy. All while trying to stay married. Since launching, the podcast has generated over 1.5 million views/streams.
He regularly raises money for Helicopters for Heroes, an organization benefiting veterans, for whom he helped raise over $1.5 million in the past two years.
Steve lives in New Braunfels, TX with Captain Evil and their son and daughter. He will be kicking off his new tour, The Good Life in 2024.

I liked him from the first YouTube video I watched The moment this guy come on stage I could not stop laughing , my stomach was hurting after the show. It cost me a lot of money to pay for a babysitter , hotel and obviously new dress for the wife but It is definitely worth it. I think he will be famous. Just make sure your kids don't listen to his jokes. 18+ please

I am from corpus Christi but drove from San Antonio for the night to see this, so glad I did!

It was the first time seeing steve and his comedy was not scripted like other comedians. Good comedy and had me laughing from beginning to end. Highly recommend it for it was hilarious.

If he would clean up his material, he would be funnier in my opinion and it wouldn't be so embarrassing to listen to his act. Roger Creager, 4 Stars: Really enjoyed his music! He got the crowd going and we loved it. Jesus Trejo (the warm up act), 5 Stars: This guy was hysterical! I absolutely LOVED this guy and the best thing about it was he didn't feel the need to be vulgar or nasty to get a laugh. His act was clean but so funny! I would pay money to just see this guy without the other two acts! He gets FIVE STARS!

His jokes for the most part are centered around his family, but it never ceases to amaze me that his love for his family still comes through.
