About

Counting nearly 3 billion music streams to his name, Steve Aoki is a true visionary. Billboard described the 2x-GRAMMY-nominated music producer, artist, fashion designer, entrepreneur, NFT futurist and Dim Mak Records founder as "one of the most in-demand entertainers in the world."  A Guinness World Record holder for the "Most Traveled Musician in a Single Calendar Year," Aoki has performed at nearly every top festival around the world, including Coachella, Ultra Music Festival, Lollapalooza, Fuji Rock Festival, Tomorrowland and Electric Daisy Carnival.

As a globally successful cross-genre solo artist, Aoki has collaborated with an impressive list of varied artists, including BTS, Maluma, Snoop Dogg, Linkin Park, blink-182, One Direction's Louis Tomlinson, Machine Gun Kelly, Lil Uzi Vert, 2 Chainz and Daddy Yankee, on top of having released three Platinum singles, six Gold singles, and over ten Top 10 radio records. After unveiling four Neon Future albums, Aoki's highly-anticipated next album HiROQUEST: Genesis is coming out September 16th, featuring collaborations with Taking Back Sunday, Mod Sun, Kane Brown and more.

Aoki approaches each new endeavor with the same sense of dedication he's put into his past achievements, including the Grammy-nominated Netflix documentary I'll Sleep When I'm Dead (2016) and his memoir BLUE: The Color of Noise(2019). In 2012, he also founded THE AOKI FOUNDATION to support organizations in brain science and its research. His influential record label Dim Mak, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2021, is known for being a launching pad for the careers of prominent acts like Bloc Party, The Chainsmokers, Bloody Beetroots, The Kills, Zedd and Diplo. Most recently, Aoki created the A0K1VERSE, an NFT membership community, powered by the Passport, that welcomes his fans to both virtual and real-world experiences. Aoki is also executive producer for "American Hiro," a series in development with FX Networks directed by Jon M. Chu, chronicling the life of his father, Hiroaki "Rocky" Aoki, the legendary entrepreneur and daredevil businessman who created the Benihana empire. In whatever space Steve Aoki enters, the multi-hyphenate innovator continues to set trends and inspire creativity on a global level.

    Dubstep meets House

by SexyandIKnowIt on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Datsik and Aoki were great; great music, great performance, but the inside vibe wasn't that satisfactory. Everyone's pushing, trying to get in front (all the time). Oh, and, these ptots, at least make 16+. Would be much better :)

I came 30 minutes late to the event, but boy Dirtyphonics was tearing it up and everyone went crazy. As the night progressed the energy just continued to grow and lift the room. Words can not even properly express this event. Datsik tore it up, and Aoki just gave everyone the finisher to the night.

Diving & Surging to Driving Bass!

by AdoptedAOKIfan on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Really amazing show with 3 excellent performances! DATSIK blended some chart-topping tracks with his own wicked bass vibrations, and is quite the crowd surfer too. And, Aoki was awesome! Such a showman on stage with great lighting, spraying the crowd with Champagne, and even hitting frantic front-row fans with Birthday Cakes - If you can get someone so pumped they want to be hit with greasy grocery store cake, that's talent!!

    Aoki & Datsik-Deadmeat Tour

by DCchillin on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

The show was good, but to be perfectly honest Datsik is an amazing DJ/Producer who's coming through with new styles and awesome new songs. And while he plays the songs he is tweeking them to make the live version sound sicker than the regular track. Aoki played this songs and was all about the hype. It was like he had the skills of a high school dj, but just kept going around and hyping the crowd up. Datsik>Aoki, wayyyyy better than Aoki.

    Age limits

by Kurrupt on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Think it was rediculace to see all these little kids at this event, not only did it kill the event but it was a joke so see how drugged up they were and irresponsible .. 1000% think there should b a higher age limit on these events @ least 18 and older because kids then are a little more responsible n not so immature.

    Great show. BAD SOUND SYSTEM

by RobTECH on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Thought the sound would improve after the opener (dirtyphonics). NEVER HAPPENED. Sound had the perfect amount of booming bass. But no mid and treble to balance it. Performances were outstanding though

    Steve was spectacular!

by SamiCee on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

This was my first techno concert and after this weekend I can say it will not be my last. The venue was amazing, there was not a bad seat in the entire place. The fans were amazing a well, everyone was there to have a great time. And they did!! I would recommend this vent to anyone who wants to have fun in neon apparel, and let loose!! Truly fantastic!

    Give Datsik more play time!!!!!!!!!!!

by bassface1234 on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Steve aoki was great and had good energy, but steve is not meant to be a headliner. He has what? Four songs that he's actually produced on his own?? They shoulda flipped it and had datsik headline. That would have been muuuch better it seems to me. However, Dirtyphonics was so cool!! i really liked their style and it was really fun to see four dj's at once. quite entertaining.

    Sickest show ever!

by Anonymous on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Steve Aoki most definitely knows how to put on a show. Honestly one of the best shows I've ever been to. The energy was insane, the production was amazing, and Aoki is just one insane and talented dj. I say everyone must see him at least once because it is honestly one of those performances you wish you could live over and over again. Aoki you are one of a kind!

If you like events that are advertised as 21+ and end at 12, and when you get there you find out that it is all ages, then this is the show for you. If you like to get carded at events and pay $12 for a shot and $10 for a beer then this is also the show for you. If you like good music and DJ's that actually can put a set together that has any kid of flow to it, then this is definitely NOT the show for you. Pretty damn disappointing...

by Madisen420 on 1/23/12Bill Graham Civic Auditorium - San Francisco

Dirtyphonics and Datsik absolutely KILLED IT! Although Aoki's set was very similar to his set from Identity Festival, it was still a great act. Overall it was a fantastic show and night and left me with many unforgettable memories!
