Awesome show. But seating was extremely cramped and map layout is no where near what the actual layout of the seating is.
Stephen Wilson jr is the most honest and real songwriter of a generation missing that. He sounds absolutely perfect live. He shouldn't be missed if he graces an arena near you.
His father must have been great because his son Stephen Wilson Jr is awesome both musically and live! Would Love to see him collaborate with Sierra Ferrell. Hope it happens. His band is also great musicians. Try not to miss his Son of Dad tour!
One of the best concerts I’ve been to!! Great venue!! And Stephen is pure genius!! I can’t wait to see him and his band again!!!
I am a true fan! We got to see Stephen Wilson Jr for the first time with one of my Fav’s HARDY in Vegas May 2025. Needless to say we were blown away!!! We are concert travelers, we go everywhere to see bands, people etc…. When we found out that SWJ was actually only about 45 min from where we were born and live, it blew our minds! Like how have we not heard of this guy!!!! The first time I heard him, his music moved me!!! Like sitting in church listening to a sermon… sometimes you do not hear the message well, but you hear the music and it touches your soul. That is what his music does for me. We just seen him at The Louisville Palace where 90% was his hometown peeps and his family! It was great!!! I am now a COYOTE KID!!!! Thank you SWJ for entering into my soul!!! I cannot wait to see you again and again and again!!! You are a very humble man and THANK YOU for sharing your most intimate moments in your life with all of us. HERE IS TO FINDING ALL THE GARY’S OUT THERE!!!!♥️
This was the 2nd time I seen Mr. Wilson, first time was at pine knob amphitheater in Michigan, but he was not the headliner. The guitars kind of overpowered the voice from the balcony. But overall was a fantastic venue , the Palace Theatre in Louisville Kentucky. Was a little distracting with the couple that decided to sit on the floor , off to the side of the front riow, the woman took off her shoes and socks , and a few time the entangled each other like snake’s mating The drummer was amazing to watch as well Thank you Palace Theatre for a great evening
This was one of the most memorable concerts I have ever been to. We laughed, cried, danced, and sang out loud. The crowd was mesmerized as they sang along to every word. The instruments sounded amazing with the acoustics of the Palace walls. Stephen Wilson Jr. is amazing, and seeing him here, in this venue with these fans, just made it even more amazing!
The Palace Theatre in Louisville, KY is an amazing venue. Stephen Wilson Jr is a legend
Was a great experience great job from the staff Will be returning for sure
I want to be clear right off the rip, SWJ and his band were killer and did an amazing job. My issue, and why it is a 2 star review was the sound engineer. SWJ's guitar and steel guitar were both so loud and overpowering that you could not hear the vocals AT ALL. It was a conversation throughout the evening by those in attendance and the energy in the room was negatively impacted by it because you could not hear his voice. Extremely disappointing experience as I have been a fan for a while and was looking forward to seeing him in a venue like The Palace.
