Very good show. Unfortunately, it was the last one in Boston before each of the members moves on to focus on different aspects of their lives. This served to make the experience even better because Stephen Kellogg kicked off his career in Boston. It was an emotional show for the band, for Kellogg especially & it showed in the way the performed. They played with an extra level of passion which was reserved for fans that have been with them since the beginning. You could tell none of them wanted the last show in this city to end, & they performed 3 encores. The concert was excellent & if the band ever does pick up where they left off, I would highly recommend it to anyone. In the meantime, definitely go check out Stephen, or any of the band members' solo gigs because they're bound to be very good.

    Stephen Kellogg and NJ--Perfect Together!

by Hiddentravel on 8/3/12The Stone Pony - Asbury Park

I had only seen Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers once before, but this show makes me want to go back again and again. Maybe due to the fact that this was in the world famous Stone Pony, but the show was a great effort to kick off the Hi-a-tus tour. will definitely have to go to the last show in Webster Hall in NYC. The supporting performers Native Run, the Stolen Rhodes and Joe Miller were excellent. Hope they have a chance to appear at other stops along the tour. Stephen Kellogg & the Sixers add up to a perfect 10!

    Best live show I've seen

by Mickle13 on 7/5/12Arts at the Armory - Somerville

I've been to a lot of concerts but none where the crowd interaction was as good as it was at this one. The band is hysterical, likable, not conceded as you often see with big-name artists, and incredibly talented. They took the time to relate to the audience. The mix of older and new songs was great. The highlight of the concert by far was that Stephen brought his eldest daughter on stage to dance during one of the songs. She was awesome. The energy in the venue was high throughout the performance and I will definitely be seeing them again. I would have paid a lot more than $25 to see this concert.

Didn't know of the band before the concert, but they put on a good show. Thought the venue's setup was a little strange (large open room with plastic folding chairs), but it ended up being okay.

    Sk6ers = true talent!

by TeamTwin on 3/15/12Tralf - Buffalo

This band is by far one of the greatest bands in the country. Their talent mixed with their passion to perform is what sets them above the bar. There was not a person in the room who wasn't infatuated by Stephen's talent and charm. The sk6ers deserves to be heard and seen! Please check them out!

    Energy X 100

    by 22334455 on 3/12/128x10 - Baltimore

What a fantastic night! The band was HOT!!! What energy...and they played several songs from their new "album"!!! Both opening bands/musicians were amazing, too, and that does not happen very often! Stephen is truly a wonderful storyteller...so glad we drove from Reading, PA to Baltimore, MD!!!

Stephen Kellogg and the Sixers have never failed to disappoint, and they absolutely brought down the house at the 8 x 10. The venue has that homey, warm feeling that allows the listener to see every little feature of the band, and the sound is surprising good for such a small space. Native Run was a pleasant surprise as an opener, and Katrina's voice had resonating power. In short, SK6ers are one of the best live bands touring the country right now, and the 8 x 10 provided them with a great setting to prove it. The only downside is that parking is generally awful in Federal Hill, and it was made worse by a "Pub Crawl" going on that night.

    another great show

    by padraig1894 on 3/12/128x10 - Baltimore

This was the third time in the last few months I'd seen SK (Boston in October and DC in November were the others). And this was the second time I'd seen Native Run with them, great performers. I will definitely go see their upcoming solo shows. The first act was a female named Katrina who should go back to law. No one enjoyed it and the biggest applause she got was when she left.

    SK and 6rs all Energy!

by CClarkOps on 1/14/12Bluebird Theater - Denver

This concert was full of engery and fun, just what I have come to expect from the Sixers. Adding Matt Nathanson into the mix, and coming into the crowd just gave it that extra bit of fun. The new songs are great and we would not let them go until the end of the third encore.
