  • Great music! Great venue!

by Jim on 6/3/24Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Third time to hear them. Each time has been great! Heard songs I hadn't heard before and they were all good.

  • Outstanding Performance!!

by Sherrie Sibley on 6/3/24Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I’ve been several times to their concert and have really enjoy it every single time! Recently, after the concert in Knoxville I had the pleasure of meeting Graham Sharp and Barrett Smith. One of my favorite songs is “Call The Captain” from the album Be Still Moses. Graham Sharp plays Banjo and wrote the song and Barrett Smith plays Upright Bass and sings the song. Have already made plans to go to their concert in Asheville, NC this weekend which is their special home town concert. #SteepCanyonRangers ❤️❤️

  • GREAT SHOW

by Kimery on 6/3/24Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

I have seen them in the past and this was the best show yet. The fiddle player is amazing, not only to listen to, but to watch. The energy was fabulous and lots of it from everyone in the band. I will see them anytime they are in town!

  • Fantastic!

by Knoxville Nana on 6/3/24Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Excellent concert in a fantastic venue. All the musicians were great but I especially enjoyed Nicky Sanders fiddle solos. If they have a concert near you, grab a ticket. You’ll love the experience.

  • best ever

by carol on 4/23/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

could not have been better enjoyed every minute have been following the rangers for twenty years and have never seen a bad show

  • Great concert

by BQ on 4/23/24Birchmere - AlexandriaRating: 5 out of 5

This was a wonderful concert. The musicians are all so talented and they played flawlessly and with such warmth. The Birchmere runs very well, service for food and drinks very good. The one complaint I have is that I had trouble understanding the words in the songs. I don't know if that's the sound system or something else.

  • Great concert!

by Jim on 2/13/24The Walker Theatre - ChattanoogaRating: 5 out of 5

The venue was comfortable. The music was amazing! The third Steep Canyon Rangers concert that we have attended. Each one has been a little different but all have been excellent. The talents of the group are amazing!

Great show! The sound quality was over the top. They are such good musicians

  • Band great. Theater terrible

by Elaine on 1/22/24Jefferson Theater - CharlottesvilleRating: 3 out of 5

The lighting in the theater was the worst I have ever experienced. We had strong lights pointed straight in our eyes and the other lighting blinded the band from being seen. Good only enjoy hearing the music

  • Great band awful venue

by joe on 1/22/24Jefferson Theater - CharlottesvilleRating: 2 out of 5

The band was great, the music was great the venue was awful. The stage lighting was like having someone shine their bright lights directly in your eyes. There were times we were covering our eyes from the glaring lights. It was so bad my wife and I did something we have never done before and that is leave in the middle of the show. Go see the Steep Canyon Rangers but don't go see them at the Jefferson Theatre in Charlottesville VA.

  • Steep Canyon Rangers

by Lexi on 1/22/24Jefferson Theater - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

It was a fabulous musical event! Great seating and great sound. Too bad the merch table was closed until the end of the evening. We loved the theater and look forward to attending more events there.

  • Awesome concert

by Alanj on 1/22/24Jefferson Theater - CharlottesvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Steel Canyon Rangers ROCK and I love the Jefferson!

  • SCR Awesome as always. Back lighting was terrible

by Lights on 1/22/24Jefferson Theater - CharlottesvilleRating: 4 out of 5

The concert was fantastic. The band was awesome. The back lighting was awful the lights were shining up into the balcony and they were so bright we couldn’t even see the band for at least a third at the show.

  • FABULOUS

by Elaine on 6/13/23American Theatre - HamptonRating: 5 out of 5

I've seen them 3 times and they never disappoint!!!!! What an incredible and talented group of musicians ...... each one contributes a certain je ne sais quoi to the band ~ if you haven't seen them, I urge you to catch them next time they come to your town!!!!!

  • Slow to get going

by TN Listening on 2/20/23Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 3 out of 5

This was my fifth time to see them in a live performance. The fiddle player did not engage as in the past. Two new additions since I saw them prior to Covid and the lead singer is a solid addition. In time and with some seasoning the group might meld back into what it was in the past. Banjo player and the versatile drummer are still solid

  • Best Steep Fall Into The Canyon… EVER!

    by TTownDaddy05 on 2/20/23Bijou Theatre - KnoxvilleRating: 5 out of 5

Take “beyond talented” musicians, add to that phenomenal songwriters, with natural entertainment leanings and give that over 2 hours to bubble and boil and you’ve got 1 amazing evening of energetic and lofty tunes for the music lovers of the Scuffy City! Could not have asked for a better experience!

  • Great band
