    . Experience

    by Vic on 7/12/23

Would have appreciate more activities the hunted house. Was a joke and waste of time. The food I can say was the best enough and good food. The magicians wasnt bad being that there were kids present more like a mediocre performance . Room for improvement

    Fun, but really expensive.

    by LAC on 7/12/23

It's fun, but expensive, more so if you aren't a "ride"rider. No general admission, so it's $42 for a few shows and the privilege to spend more money on overpriced food, drinks and carny games (between $5 and $10 now). You gotta really love fairs to go.

    Admission payment for weekdays

    by Bee on 7/12/23

It is not fair that on a Friday admission price is expensive than other state fairs I’ve been too. I honestly understand if the weekends is expensive because likely you’ll get many people but on a Friday after work was supposed to be relaxing night but i had to pay in total for two $83 dollars. As a first timer , I’m Not coming back to this state fair area again

Not what it used to be

    by Will on 7/12/23

So not only is the admission more expensive than it ever used to be, but there are way less attractions in things to do. Not the same as I remember it growing up.

    Less than expected...much less.

    by Jmallymall on 7/12/23

This event was publicized as a "State Fair", but was actually a glorified pop up carnival, but on on a larger level parking lot size. What is a true state fair is something along the lines of livestock displays, crafts, and cooking contests. What they did have in abundance were amusement park rides, games, concerts, races, and food vendors. Much of the games and food were all the same. Highly disappointed

    Amazing

    by tt on 7/12/23

The food trucks very worth the price, highly recommend. Had a great time. Also had great laughs on the few rides I got a chance to experience.

    Okay

    by Julia on 7/12/23

In theory it was a good fair, good organisation as far as getting in. However the fair itself was not worth the money. Went on a total of 3 rides in 5 hours due to the ridiculous lines. The lines were so long and went by so slow . The actual ride itself was too long, so long that you get bored while you’re on the ride, which I think is a contributor to the long waits. If you have a lot of time on your hands, and plan on being there a while, this place is perfect, otherwise wouldn’t recommend. To add on also the food options are all the same.

    Overpriced

    by Doug on 7/12/23

Overpriced since it used to be free. Mediocre rides and same usual shows from passed years. Was better when entry was free and you only had to pay for rides

No More Meadowlands State Fairs,I'm Done.

    by Ms.Price on 7/12/23

Lines were too long, food was way too expensive, not enough places to sit,and if your just a chaperon you shouldn't have to pay to get in with your children. The only thing I should've paid for was food and drinks.I was forced to pay for a ticket at the gate. That was an extra $41.00 wasted, because I don't get on rides. The funnel cake was huge, and delicious. It was amazing, that was what made my day and was worth the 10 dollars it cost me.

    Disappointment

    by Cyn on 7/12/23

I have gone to the State Fair almost all my life and this time around was very disappointing. The lines for the rides were very long, there was no organization. Games and Food very expensive and the fair did not give you an option to just buy tickets for the rides. You were forced to pay unlimited rides and due to the long lines my kids were only able to go on two rides.

    Horrible

    by Maria on 7/12/23

The tickets were 42 per person The lines were super long to the point that my 11 year barely got on any rides. You get smacked with the smell of weed everywhere.

    Would not attend again

    by Ak on 7/12/23

It rained the entire time so I didn’t get to go on any rides, I bought a lemonade for $15. I could’ve went to Coney Island for a better experience.

    Dirty

    by JerseyGirl07604 on 7/12/23

I was excited to bring my daughter and her cousins to the fair and even arrived early. The checkin process was great and initial security screening to be expected. As I started walking I can see how dirty and kept the rides and walkways were. The lines were unreasonably long for the price and allotted time because the ticket is good only got 1day. I said to all once and done, I’m not doing that again. There were more vendors and over priced games then actual entertainment. FYI if you dare to go get a tetanus shot first.

    Great for family and teenagers

    by Isabel on 7/12/23

Everything was organized, lines were long, but you can always invest in your fast pass. You can indulge in nostalgia rides as much as you want. Eat and drink or snack even before you go so you don’t have to spend too much in food in there. Reasonable food pricing for a fair. Games are expensive and of course rigged, but that is on us, we all know that already, but we can always try!

    Waste of money

    by Concernedmom on 7/12/23

We went there for last minute 4th of July plans saw on the site they were showing fireworks at 10 pm I have a 5 and 8 year old we bought the tickets came out to about 170$ and then we saw the lines we so long (at least about an hour wait per ride) so you needed the fast passes which were another 15 each every toy and food was way over priced I bought two little Minecraft swords and they were 50$ then the icing on the cake the fireworks didn’t start at 10 we finally made our way to the car at 1058 by the time we got there the fireworks started terrible experience used to love the meadowlands state fair

    Bad times

    by Jland1968 on 7/12/23

Very disappointed. During the day there are no shows the only thing is overpriced rigged games and overpriced greasy food. I paid 40$ to have a horrible time.

    Disorganized

    by Vin on 7/12/23

Honestly, this year they did an all day pass for all the rides which is great, but when you have more people than you expected the lines to go on a ride were absolutely crazy. I purchased the fast pass for my kid and lines were still long. Good and drinks were over priced and the crowd was complete garbage. Honestly that is the last time I go there.
