State Fair Meadowlands Tickets

Made the mistake of going on a Holiday weekend, Monday July 5th, when most people are off from work. Lines were 30 minutes to an hour at least. Fast Pass line was longer, so you had no way of turning it into a good situation. Should make fast pass available online. Lines were so long and the place was so crowded that you could not tell which line was for which ride. After the sun set, and the temperature cooled off, the crowds just grew, even though it was closer to closing time. Arrived at 4:30 and left very discouraged at 9:30 as the crowds became intolerable. So for 5 hours we were only able to go on 2 rides and attend to events, the diving expedition, and the petting zoo. I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN. Six Flags/Great Adventure a much better alternative. IF I COULD I WOULD GIVE IT ZERO STARS.

The state fair raised the price from previous years. Ride Conductors did not allow guests who bought Fast Pass have the benefits they payed for. On a 18 person ride, 6 people from the fast pass line got on and 12 from the normal line. We paid to not wait in line.. not to mention the fast pass line was fast enough. This entire fair is definitely not worth what you paid for at all. The food was disgusting, pizza stands served under cooked pizza and people who made lemonade did not wear gloves while handling the lemons with their bare hands. Whole thing was very unsanitary. Saw and smelt a man smoking marijuana in line for a game. A LOT of staff had a attitude or were extremely rude. Lines were longer than ever. Not a good experience at ALL. The fair is definitely not worth it I suggest to save you’re money.

My boyfriend and I went on a date here. It was perfect! We had so much fun and we went on a Wednesday so it wasn't too busy. Perfect rides to laugh and share screams at, amazing shows, and cute animals!! A pig race and a petting zoo, magic shows, motorcycle show, it was so entertaining. The ferris wheel was romantic :) A lot of games to show each other your competitive side (and chances to win your partner a souviner ;)). We had such a great time, definitely going back next year.
