They never cease to amaze me. Music is fantastic, and the visuals are phenomenal. Will always go and see them when they have a show nearby. Left the show feeling STARstruck :) <3
Starset puts on a show unlike any I've experienced before. The visuals, the narrative, the music! It's all top notch, making you feel as though you're in their world. They choose smaller venues but pack it to the brim with production, so there's never a bad spot to see the show. Additionally they offer VIP, which affords you some exclusive goodies and an opportunity for pictures with the band, and to chat and get things signed. They're the friendliest bunch I've met, happy to answer questions and get things signed. If you have a chance to see Starset, I would highly recommend it. They bring fantastic energy and excellent production and music.
Iāve see Starset 3 times now and it just keeps getting more elaborate and mesmerizing. Itās so worth it to go every time they tour just to see the new toys Dustin finds.
Starset is amazing. Ever since i got out pout on this band i cant get enough. Venue was great.
Starset is _never_ a disappointment and yet they seem to get better every time. I've been to four shows in the past few years and each one iterates and evolves, introducing new features and effects and, in this most recent offering, a clear story thread. Between the band's precision and the extreme effects all playing together the impact is phenomenal. This time around there were a few technical flubs, but that almost made it better. There was an extended sound drop where the entirety of the band was nearly silent, well the audience never skipped a beat and remained surprisingly in tune with the song. What a moment! Most audience participation is cringy, off key, and often off beat, but this crowd was on point. Of the few instances of "blips"(that I caught) they were recovered quickly (excepting that one) and the performers never waivered. There is a ton of technology that needs to be aligned, calibrated, timed, and synchronized, so I think we can all appreciate the work that goes into these amazing shows. Finally (for Starset), they played all of their latest singles (Waiting on the Sky to Change, Brave New World, Degenerate, and Toksik) and I love the direction they are heading. There are some real bangers on their last EP, Horizons, but these latest feel both fresh, evolved, while being a return to a more techno-metal form... While still being catchy. It's magic, that's what it is. As for the venue itself... Carpeting at a metal (ok... Space Rock...? Nerd Rock...?) concert? I don't know... But it works. Easier on the feet and seemed to flatten excessive sibilance. And the catering company (Mazzone) was... Reasonable. Staff were courteous and professional... And... Again... Reasonable venue prices?! Since when is that a thing? Please replace all venue crafts services with Mazzone right now. The other [and larger] local venues could learn a thing or two about supporting their customers. Looking forward to another show next year... The story thread ended in a cliff hanger, after all.
This venue has wonderful acoustics & a very friendly atmosphere. Starset was absolutely incredible! My 10 yo and I had a wonderful time together.
They were nothing short of incredible from start to finish. Special effects were insane and the whole show was just insane. Second seeing them was way better than the first. Canāt wait until they come around again.
What an awesome show, sound was amazing and great proformance by the band, hopefully they come back
Loved the starset show they really put some time and effort into it and it shows
The most amazing show I have ever been to. It was so different and really pulled you into the story of the Starset society. I would see them every time they come around, excellent show!
If you have the chance to see a demonstration from Starset, do yourself a favor and check it out. Hands-down, one of the best cinematic and musical experiences I have ever seen.
THIRD TIME IVE SEEN THEM THIS YEARRRRR WOOHOOOOOO. Waiting takes a bit and can be discouraging but STILL SO AWESOME
This final Immersions tour was awesome. 7th(ish) time i've seen them and this show was very different. Definitely worth attending, way different than the past few tours. Loved it.
Full disclosure: I am a huge STARSET fan, to the point of having read the books and everything. This was my third time seeing them live and they put on such an amazing show every time. It wraps you all up in their music itself as well as the lower behind everything and the immersion events do an even better job of that than their other shows when they have other bands there. It was so worth it to me to go. I will also say that my VIP experience was also amazing and I would do it again in a heartbeat.
One thing I love about Starset aside their incredible music is their amazing stage setup. They deliver a powerful, incredible, immersive show thatbreally plunge you into their unique futuristic world.
Sound quality was perfect, the lights and displays encapsulated the environmental aspects of the music, like Iāve never seen before. Definitely an amazing first time experience seeing Starset. Iāve been to many concerts, and they brought something different that was excellent. I will always be buying a ticket if Starset is playing in my area from now on!
For my first time seeing them, I wasn't deceived. The show was excellent, got the VIP ticket and the band was so nice! Can't wait to go again next time they're on tour
I may be a tad bit biased because I have been a fan of this band for nearly a decade, but this was such an amazing event. The lights, the sound quality, the effects and story-telling and those movie-worthy scenes + BMI ad, the setlist, the techies and security, everything was so so goodā and obviously the band and their music :). 11/10 experience, would love to have it again soon.
You can tell these guys put their heart and soul into their work. MUST SEE LIVE!
