Star Wars: The Force Awakens Tickets

Quick review! The ASO is awesome. These movie events where they play the score are so much fun. Sometimes I can’t decide if I want to stare at the symphony performing or watch the movie. We go about once a year to these events so if you are debating on going, our family are big fans. We have been taking the kids since they were elementary schoolers. Complaints…Symphony Hall was REALLY warm this year. It was a packed house and it was uncomfortably warm and stuffy, so much so that my husband, who even had an aisle seat, was considering leaving. As the movie began and the lights went down, and everyone went silent in anticipation, the Star Wars opening lines began scrolling on the screen, one of the ushers screamed out “NO PHONES OR RECORDING!!” completely ruining the sense of wonder and excitement. My family was so mad. It was uncalled for and that female usher who was on the left loge needs to be reprimanded for spoiling that moment for so many people.

This was my first experience with an orchestra and the movie, even though it is something U have wanted to do for a while. This was an amazing time. I came with my best friend who has never seen Star Wars but he loved every bit of it. This was an amazing experience and look forward to another showing!

I was totally surprised at how much I enjoyed this performance. I am not a Star Wars fan but my husband is and I bought the tickets for him for his birthday. This is the first Star Wars movie I’ve ever seen. The musical accompaniment was superb and I’d love to see other movies done like this. There are many movies with great musical scores. Great job Atlanta Symphony Orchestra!

Great Experience - there is no substitute for LIVE music!

The show itself was great. It was very impressive to watch the movie along with the symphony in perfect synchronization. My issue was with the facility itself. It was about 90 degrees outside the day of the show, and it felt just as hot inside. I heard so many people commenting on how hot it was, so it wasn't just me. Another issue were the bathrooms. Almost all of the soap dispensers were not working, and I could see the replace battery flashing on most. Water was not dispensing from most of the faucets either. Whoever was in charge of the building on this day really dropped the ball. Really put a damper on the overall experience.

I went to this on Sunday as a self date and enjoyed myself immensely. I hadn’t been to an ASO event in years and I remember it being stuffy and having to sneak snacks in lol. This show was very casual and fun. And, you could buy snacks and enjoy the show. Prior to going, I didn’t know that the movie would be playing as well. I came for the music, but Star Wars is one of my favorites, so I got lost in the movie as well. Overall, I am definitely going to another movie event this season.

As usual the ASO was outstanding. Coupled with Star Wars made for a great afternoon!

The concert was FANTASTIC!! The music was perfect, from the beginning to the end of the credits. This is a great way to catch a movie and hear a wonderful orchestra a the same time. It was so good, I purchased tickets to see Black Panther. So excited!!!!

I fully enjoyed this performance of Star Wars. What an awesome idea of playing along with a movie. First time at the Atlanta symphony hall. I’ve seen them before at DragonCon. Love them then. Love them now. Looking forward to enjoying another performance in the future. Will look on their site regularly for schedule.
