Star Wars Live In Concert Tickets

Awesome! The Orchestra didn’t miss a single note, truly an amazing experience!

The movie soundtrack was so much better. No live cantina music. Orchestra was tired by Sat night. Couldn’t here the horns during the intro. Screen was lit by the orchestra’s lights to read the music. Wasted money, $100.00.

So fun! A great date night for our wedding anniversary!

This was amazing. The orchestra was phenomenal, and had a great sense of humor. I ordered my tickets during the pre-order. So this is my only complaint and a huge word to the wise: This show is live with the orchestra playing. If I had just been there for the orchestra part, than the amount of money I spent on my seat would have made sense. HOWEVER... as a fan, I was there to also see the movie so I could watch the orchestras interaction with the film. I ordered tickets in the orchestra pit. Saenger did not set the screen up for this to be worth the extra money I spent. We had to lie all the way back in our seats and balance our chairs on the back legs in order to watch the film from a somewhat decent angle. I had wanted to complain to Saenger, but was enjoying the orchestra a lot and didn't want it to reflect badly on them or their accomplishments. IF I had known that they would be putting the screen that much forward, I would have spent way less money on my tickets for a way better view. Otherwise, the show was great. Had to go get a massage for my neck afterwards, but worth it.

The orchestra was so amazing you forgot the music was being played live as you watched the movie.

I took my boyfriend here for our one year anniversary and he loved it! The whole thing was amazing and we can not wait to go back! If you are thinking about going, do it:)

An absolutely fantastic show in one of the most beautiful theaters in the world.

I’ve seen Star Wars dozens of times but seeing it with a live orchestra is a unique experience. The musical score of John Williams was played brilliantly by the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra. I did find having the movie’s dialogue shown at the bottom of the screen a bit distracting. The Saenger Theatre is a great venue.

I think rating this show is difficult because it's very opinion based. By that I mean how much you actually like Star Wars Episode IV. Honestly I find it kind of boring BUT the live Orchestra was amazing. I am a little sad there are no brass instruments so they didn't do the Canteena music scene which would have been amazing. Overall though it was a quality show and I would definitely see the other Star Wars episodes if they decide to do them. I've already seen Jurassic Park with the Live Orchestra and I've bought tickets to Jaws so I'm definitely hooked. I really hope they end up doing Harry Potter! I wouldn't recommend spending more than $30 a ticket because this is a movie most people have seen many times and the way the screen is set up, no matter where you sit you'll be able to see what's going on.

Fantastic and surprising concert. An event of a lifetine!

We absolutely loved Star Wars Live in Concert! We've seen the movie a thousand times, but never realized that the whole movie had music through it!! The Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra was outstanding!! Was wonderful to see and hear all the sounds that so many people take for granted.

Concert was great! The Conductor and the LPO were fantastic; they took the movie to a whole another level.

Go see it! Of course it’s a great movie, but do you add the tastic like sound and his incredible

The timing of the musical score to the movie was impeccable. A ton of fun and I hope they bring other episodes from the Star Wars franchise.

Absolutely AWESOME!! The only way to see movies!!!! May I suggest doing any if the Indiana Jones movies!!!

I took my 11 and 4yr old to the Friday night show, and even though they fell asleep after intermission(!), we had a blast! I dressed up as Princess Leia, my oldest as Kylo Ren, my youngest as Darth Vader...we were also the only ones dressed up, so everyone stopped us for pics and compliments! Do or do not, there is no try...
