Stanley Clark and Band did not disappoint!!! The musicians were top notch. The level of talent was incredible!! Stanley grooving on the electric bass was bringing the funk at its funkiest!! The sounds and techniques on the upright bass were mesmerizing and tasteful!!
I have been going to Stanley Clarke concerts for the last 45 years since the day I waited on Jeff Beck and Stanley at a five star Golfe Hotel de Valescure in the South of France then. He is still absolutely fantastic. The world has evolved but his music is still unique and excellent. He is THE statesman of the bass guitar! He is also a wonderful person and citizen of the world! Awesome concert Stanley. Please continue performing! It does you good and it does wonders for us dedicated fans. Thank you!
I, along with several friends, experienced Stanley Clarke's band at the Birchmere and it was amazing and memorable. It was Stanley's band and night, no doubt. As elder statesman, he showed that he's still got it. Nonetheless, each member of the band had plenty of opportunity to display their considerable individual talent. The show ended with a spirited rendition of "School Days", an all-time favorite. Talent-o-plenty. Fun for all. I highly recommend!
The concert was great. The musicians in the band are all fantastic musicians. Enjoyed each’s performance. Stanley did not play much guitar but instead entertained the audience with his masterful playing of the acoustic base. The audience was of all ages and fans of Stanley Clark from different periods of his career. I don’t feel anyone in attendance was disappointed.
It was a great show Stanley Clark was fantastic as well as the band. This was my first time seeing him and was very excited about the show.
Best venue to enjoy a glass of champagne, outstanding performances and people. All there to hear the artist and relax.
The entire evening was wonderful, from the venue to the actual show. As always Stanley and band put on a great show. The violinist was exceptional. Totally enjoyed the evening. Money well spent.
The time change, after purchasing the tickets, prevented us from attending, as we live 2 hours away, making it an impossible commute schedule.
