St. Louis Blues History

Named for the famous W.C. Handy song "Saint Louis Blues," the Blues is one of the most storied franchises in the NHL. They entered the league in 1967, making the Stanley Cup Final in each of their first three seasons. They reached the Playoffs in 25 consecutive seasons from 1980 to 2005, including in 1999-2000, when right wing Pavol Demitra and defensemen Al MacInnis led the way to a league-best 114 points, only to be upset by the San Jose Sharks in the first round of the Playoffs.

Recent history has provided its share of fireworks. Most memorable: Troy Brouwer's deciding goal in Game 7 of the 2016 Western Conference quarterfinals against the rival Blackhawks, which sent the Blues to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 15 years.

In 2018-2019, the Blues went on an impressive Playoff run to meet the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final, where St. Louis won in seven games for the team's first Cup in franchise history.

  • needs more action off the ice

I had 20 somethings come up and tell me 3 times while I was out in the hallway that my outfit looked great or was the best outfit there that night. I feel a few young 20 somethings doing a cam interacting with the people out in the food area would be a good ideal. They could ask what the inspiration was behind the outfit?, If it is a lucky outfit and they wear it every game?, where they purchased the items or were they acrued over time? Did any of the items have special meaning?, etc I also like the idea of some single blues players playing their music in the food area. Maybe even a blues band just to keep up the crowd excitement. You also need some kind of bar near the main entrance before, during and after the game that has live music that is energetic but still allows you to talk. I would charge a cover so that it feels exclusive. The old arena had a private club and as single girls we were always working our way in to hang out. I thought the bathrooms were pretty good but I would have a few attendants doing nothing but checking bathrooms throughout the game for toilet paper replacement, spills, toilet clean up, etc Paper towel replacement, soap replacement. A good bathroom for women means a lot and they will drink more if they are comfortable using the restroom. I would have more food workers so that people can get their food faster as they will then go spend more money on clothes or other food items.

The Blues yet again put on a meh opening night. The video was terrific, the in-arena activity was underwhelming, as has become tradition.

  • good seats

I bought my ticket weeks before the game. The process was smooth sailing with Ticketmaster. The atmosphere at the game was great. There were many penguins fans there supporting the team. We lost the game 5-4, but the experience was awesome.

  • WAY TOO LOUD

by old man on 3/25/25Enterprise Center - Saint LouisRating: 3 out of 5

I enjoy watching hockey live but the OVERPRODUCTION of the Enterprise Ctr experience is annoying and ridiculous. Constant music and loud "entertainment"is over the top and completely unenjoyable. This is our culture now, unfortunately.

  • Great Experience

by BwkWpg on 2/25/25Enterprise Center - Saint LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Had a fun time at the game. Everything from getting parking, to admission, to the game and then leaving went smoothly. The entertainment at the game was top notch. The game itself was very exciting. While the St Louis Blues were disappointed their team lost, I was happy the Winnipeg Jets won as I am from Winnipeg and happened to be in St Louis for the game. The Enterprise Center employees treated this visitor very well.
