ST. VINCENT IN CONCERT:
Possessing a rare combination of art-school appeal and mainstream accessibility, St. Vincent's Annie Clark is well on her way to full blown pop stardom. From her collaborations with David Byrne and Sufjan Stevens to her acclaimed work as St. Vincent, Clark has demonstrated an unbridled creativity and commitment to pop experimentation, making her a favorite with fans and critics alike. Her recordings may be stunning, but it's her talents as a performer that really make Clark stand out — taking the stage in an architectural gown, Clark's otherworldly movements and ethereal vocals are the stuff of legend, making her 2014 tour dates a must for any fan of true avant-pop spectacle.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born in Oklahoma, Annie Clark, a.k.a. St. Vincent, took up the guitar at age 12, going on to play in her high school's jazz band as a teenager. After spending three years at Boston's Berklee College of Music in the early '00s, Clark dropped out to pursue real-world musical experience, joining the Polyphonic Spree for their European tour. In 2006, she left the band to join Sufjan Steven's touring band, beginning to record as St. Vincent the same year. Her 2007 debut album Marry Me received praise for its intricate arrangements and unexpected compositional twists, paving the way for the success of 2009 sophomore effort Actor, a Top 10 hit on Billboard's Independent Albums Chart. With the early-2014 release of her fifth album, Clark once again drew unilateral praise from critics, cracking the Top 20 of the Billboard 200 and embarking on an international headlining tour.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
" Even better live than on her albums, St. Vincent lit up the Fox. It was an awesome mashup reminiscent of Bowie, Mercury and Gaga. I loved it, and will be back for more."
"Gorgeous songs, surprising choreography, enchanted excitement. I urge anyone who loves sophisticated pop to see this show."
"Yes, yes, yes, and yes! Great playing, awesome sound, killer production aesthetics and an overall great SHOW. St. Vincent and her band are kicking butt and taking names."

SF show blew my mind. The band, the LEVEL of artistry and taste, the fearlessness, and just ANNIE. My gawd. Just go.
St. Vincent never disappoints and this show proves that it can only get stranger and darker. Wow. This show was SO GOOD! highly recommend!
Engaging staging, professional performances and a fun concert. Maybe missing a little heart. I suspect she was feeling it too since she didn't do an encore.
Fantastic show. Smoothly executed, passionate, excellent sound. My first time seeing St Vincent. She was breathtakingly superb. So very artistic and enthusiastic. “Broken Man” was full of ominous sound and fury, delivered in a shower of beautifully razor sharp vocals and thundering guitar. No encore! Left me wanting more, which is a good thing.
St.Vincent and her band are super talented and really put on a great show. Her vocals and guitar playing were spot on and her lead guitarist and drummer were exceptional. The whole band really jammed and left me with a memory of an experience that is not only hard rock, but hard to forget.
St. Vincent, the band was stellar. Really great. They were tight; stage show was marvelous. The two reasons why I didn’t give the experience 5 stars were: the opening band, Mamma, were quite dull. I could think of ten local band that would have been better suited; the prices for drinks. I don’t know if it is an altruistic attempt to keep people sober or just money-grubbing. It was truly ridiculous.
St. Vincent and her incredible band were on fire at the Masonic last Saturday. What a great show. I cannot wait until she comes back.
Loved her, she put her whole self into it. She does shred.
Loved the show, can tell it was mainly house production, but the quality was fantastic. Lighting was great, audio quality was fantastic. I really loved the venue, first show I attended here. The band performed amazing, and the chemistry with the band was awesome. If you're a St. Vincent fan or not, and unfamiliar with the catalog, you will enjoy the show regardless. Definitely one of my favorites.
That’s it - I wanted to see st vincent so bad but my flight got cancelled.
10/10 Amazing performance and charisma. Annie and the band were amazing
The band and the lead singer are great. The light show is fantastic. Well worth the money!

Annie Clark and her band are truly an unforgettable ensemble. The music. The energy. The atmosphere. The show was absolutely incredible!
The house was rocked, shaken, and burned down. This was the best show I've been to so far, stage set up wise. It radiated major Talking Heads Stop Making Sense vibes. The music was incredible. Annie Clark is a fantastic guitarist, and the entire band was on fire as well. It was one of those shows where the audience and the artist were perfectly in tune with each other. St. Vincent, please come back to Nashville soon!
She came to rock, and blew our minds, again. Band is playing tight together. Hope we get another show here soon
I have seen St Vincent three times in the past, all great shows. I should never have bought tickets. I'm just not ready to go to a crowded concert yet. I never had COVID and I'm vaccinated with booster. Sorry, Annie!
Absolutely one of the best shows I’ve seen in many years. Like Prince in his prime. An incredibly engaging and amazing show from start to finish.
