St. Louis Blues History

Named for the famous W.C. Handy song "Saint Louis Blues," the Blues is one of the most storied franchises in the NHL. They entered the league in 1967, making the Stanley Cup Final in each of their first three seasons. They reached the Playoffs in 25 consecutive seasons from 1980 to 2005, including in 1999-2000, when right wing Pavol Demitra and defensemen Al MacInnis led the way to a league-best 114 points, only to be upset by the San Jose Sharks in the first round of the Playoffs.

Recent history has provided its share of fireworks. Most memorable: Troy Brouwer's deciding goal in Game 7 of the 2016 Western Conference quarterfinals against the rival Blackhawks, which sent the Blues to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in 15 years.

In 2018-2019, the Blues went on an impressive Playoff run to meet the Boston Bruins in the Stanley Cup Final, where St. Louis won in seven games for the team's first Cup in franchise history.

  • Garage Parking

by DPG on 2/27/20Rating: 2 out of 5

I pay $19/game to park in the attached garage. Several times this year, there has been only ONE lane open at the entrance I used. I waited in line for 15 to 20 minutes longer than normal. When asked why only one gate was open, I was told several employees called in sick. I understand the city has responsibility for the garage, I encourage the Blues organization to meet w/ the city to resolve this recurring and annoying problem.

  • Fun but cramped

    by Bluesgirl88 on 1/18/20Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

I had a great time at the game. My only complaint is that the seats in the very last row in the upper bowl are definitely more cramped than the rest of the upper bowl seats.

  • Hawks lost.

by Sergeithemet on 12/27/19Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

Bought a loaded value ticket. Was supposed to have $40 to spend at concession stands. Spent only 25-26. but scan showed that I have only 25 cents left. Strange. Had to take a star off for that. Other than that I had a great time even though the Hawks blew 3-0 lead and lost 3-4. O well...

  • First Hockey Game

    by k. on 11/15/19Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 3 out of 5

We love watching the Blues on TV. Years ago when I was young single I use to go to games at the old arena. This was the first time my family and I have been to a hockey game. My daughter is 8 years old and it is time to start taking her. We sat up high,( section 301) it was all I could get, sold out game. I was impressed with how well you can see the game from the nose bleed section. I think that it is true that every seat there is a good seat. The atmosphere was fantastic, the fans for the most part were great. The game was very exciting and fun to watch. Once inside all was good. The reason why I rate it 3 stars instead of 5 is it was so problematic getting into the arena. The game was at 7pm and we got there a little after 5:30pm Traffic was horrific. Once we got to the parking garage, it was full. We had to find another place to park. Then walk a few blocks in the freezing cold to get in. Once inside we had to go through security. My wife's clutch bag was about an inch to big and we were told to take it back to our car. We were then curtly told how this new rule had been on the news and broad cast every were. It was a rude start to the night, but it got better. We took the items out of my wife's purse and put them in my coat pocket. I then gave the purse to a homeless man, that was begging outside the front of the arena. My wife nor I was going to walk that purse back to the car in the freezing cold. When we went left after the game it was not well lit walking to the garage. There were many people around us so we felt safe. All in all we will go to another game. I will purchase arena garage parking in advance and my wife will not bring a purse.

  • Great game experience

by bleedblue on 11/4/19Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

Kudos to the Enterprise improvements, seats are a lot more comfortable! Shout out to Sue (the Usher in our section). She was very friendly, offered to take pictures of the many fans who came down to get close to the ice. She would even take multiple pics if the fans weren't satisfied. She definitely enjoys her job and makes everyone feel welcome!

  • Tickets

by Whitehouse on 11/4/19Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 4 out of 5

I understand the reason for the mobile ticketing. But, not everyone has a smart phone. And, if this is the only way to enter the venue, then the wi-fi needs to be stronger. We had to get out of line because the tickets wouldn't download right away. And, we were not the only ones that had this problem. I think this needs to be worked on to make it better for the patron and not worry so much about the cost of paper tickets.

  • So easy

  • STANLEY CUP CHAMPIONS!!!

    by SH63401 on 6/17/19Enterprise Center - St LouisRating: 5 out of 5

One of the best experiences we have had. Getting to watch the Blues win the Stanley Cup was even more than we ever hoped or dreamed of. It could have only been topped by the Blues winning it on their home ice but the Blues and Enterprise Center did a phenomenal job putting this watch party together and giving all of us fans a great environment to watch them lift the Stanley Cup above their heads. THANKS!!!
